Complete b35 engine with wiring harness ,ecu and air flow meter out of an 89 635 so the wiring harness will reach the glove box. 1000.00

adj sway bars 200.00

front strut assemblies with new strut inserts 150 each

Everything there, except sheet metal , which won't fit e28's of course anyway

Forgive my lack of tech here. I've got a Euro 528i possibly looking to upgrade. I did a google search on this engine. It looks like a direct replacement for my car accept more displacement, the Bosch DME engine management, 211hp@5700 rpm.
The 535i or iS (M30/b34M-motronic, or M30/b35LE-jetronic motors)have 218hp@5400 rpm with the different management systems. Are these statements true? Looking at the specs, it seems the M30/b35LE-jetronic is the way to go. Maybe I should say, if someone was to pick the best replacement 3.5 bolt-in motor upgrade for a 528i, which would it be? Motronic, Jetronic, or Bosch DME? If I was to do a motor swap, I would probably look at a cam, and chip. Im in California, maybe just bore & stroke is allowable for smog reasons. Thanks

leather head liner is very good, dash is not.

To change over to the b35 engine and it's engine management will require the wiring harness, which I have and will be included, and you will not have to cut and splice wiring as you would otherwise, and no I will not sell seperately unless the engine sells first

bimmerboy......start your own thread and sell your junk somewhere there, if "you have permission" ....

Can this motor be used with my existing '86 528i 5spd trans? Will my trans handle the new motor with a cam? A lightweight flywheel/Sachs clutch would be installed, 3:73 or 3:91 to come later.

What # ecu comes with the motor? Can a #176 ecu simply be plugged in without cutting & splicing? What kind of mileage is on the motor, compression/leakdown, overall condition?

It would have a 179 ECU, and that is the one you will want to use....
