mwbmw535 sold me some NIB strut mounts. I got them quick and he gave me a very friendly deal, I'd buy from him again for certain.

Chris K sold me a sweet front airdam. Communication between us went really well and he even sent me perfect directions on how to install it.
Jay Oliver sold me a set of yellow high beams, but unfortunately I'm still waiting for them to be shipped. :?
Edit: Got the High beams from Jay, put them in and they look great. There is a question of whether they are fogs or high beams though, but I'm not too concerned because they fit and they look great, and work as highbeams.

runningpanda paid quickly. Great buyer.

Bimmerguy2002 sold me a maplight mirror. Shipped immediately - got it today!

Skeen sold me shirts. Amazing as usual.

Kyle in NO sent me a Style 8 centercap gratis.

Duke sold me a Hartge duffel bag and a factory service manual. Binder was destroyed in shipping, so he arranged for a replacement. Couldn't do anything to screw up the bag, though.

I bought an E21 part from ElGuappo in June. No sign of that yet.

I bought a set of big brakes from ElGuappo (Jay) a few months ago. It took forever for them to get shipped- I had to open a PayPal dispute and the deadline on that was about to pass when I finally got them. I'm sure he's a very nice guy, but it appears that his sales aren't going very well right now.

On the bright side, I bought odo gears from Duke, Stahl headers from Skip, a diff mount from Tammer, a halfshaft and front susp. stuff from TCD, and a great big pile of parts from Steve Haygood. All that worked out fine. I sold random parts to grey ghost, a spoiler to phillip1, an ECU to Euroshark, all of whom were very easy to deal with. Thanks!

UUC & steve haygood & IE Purchase

Post by Badger »

I just bought SS lines, Evo 3 short shift and DSSR thingie from UUC everything arrived perfect in two days after i ordered and i got 4 cup holders. They are the same as bavauto's cup holders but they $9 bucks a piece instead of $60. The SS lines look like they are built really well. Great customer service and always available on the phone.

Steve Haygood as usual was awsome on the phone, has a boat load of knowledge which he is willing to share and the best prices on just about all parts. Parts arrived in 3 days after ordering.

Ireland Engineering was great on the phone 1 or 2 guys there know a bunch about e28s and were very helpful. Parts arrived in 4 days.

wheels and tires never sent

Post by 83533i »

:x DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM :scbeamer803 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I purchased a set of wheels/tires I found in the sale section and they have never arrived. Money was sent via Paypal on Nov 22nd 2007. I am out $550    and still need tires on my car. He always has a story about why they are delayed. He has NEVER sent me tracking info or even said if he insured the shipment. Now it is past the 45 days  ( because I have been waiting), so paypal will not even help. Now he is not responding to emails :x and when you call his # 803-238-7270 there is a message that he lost his phone????? :x  :x  :x  :x

Hello,
just wanted to chime in and say what a great transaction i had over the course of this week, with board member Fox, aka "E28CFX1", everything was as described in his original post, and a lot of care was taken to make sure everything arrived in one piece, needless to say, packaged correctly.
Fox, also sent me tracking #'s for each package
twice, thanks!
I will definitely not hesitate to do business with him again
thanks,

Kudos to Tammer in Philly.

I purchased front and rear strut tower bars from him, and they were perfect and fairly priced. A+!

And my wife, who is not normally sympathetic to my car addiction, commented (she came along for the pick-up), that she now understands what a nice group of guys this is (well, at least some of them ;-) ).

sold BMW Giant an a/c control switch with the terms that if the part worked he would send me a check and if it didn't he would discard it. He later found out he didn't need the switch it was something else wrong with the car. But the switch was never returned :(

Bad M535i - Great seller. Item arrived quickly - too quickly in fact.

Kyle in NO - Needs to not be such a great seller. He's too good. Too damn good.

Johnnye23 - The world's nicest guy. Doesn't need to be. Just is. Why? No idea. Just too awesome.

Steve Haygood - Sent me M&Ms with my 750i master. How does he do it? No idea. Just too great.

chim-pum-callao - Great buyer - sent payment quickly. Would deal with again.

JoshInAtlanta - great buyer. I'm not tripping on wheels or E12 parts anymore - well, except those damn door handles.

Kyle in NO - Great buyer. What can I say? Great sellers generally make great buyers.

Johnnye23 - Great buyer as well. I'll tell you, it feels great to have used the 533 clutch one last time!

igotbank - Great buyer. Payment received quickly!

There are so many more people I need to thank, but I can't remember them - at least right now. Oh, there's the music! Commercial.
