Based on the roster posted on the 5er Fest website there are about 90 cars.
This includes only those who wanted their info public. No idea how many more that are not posted.

Current stats as of January 29, '05:

Cars Registered: 118
People Registered: 180

To all of you who are even thinking about attending 5er Fest 2005: REGISTER SOON!!! Upcoming advertising in Roundel and Bimmer Magazine are going to make the above numbers double very quickly -- once the event is sold out, it's sold out! And don't forget to make your hotel reservations, too!

Sold out?? What exactly does that mean? I will not know if I can drive down until the time arrives. Does that mean I will not be able to get into the show? I just want to see the cars and park mine in the pack at the BMW factory.

Bob -- yes there is an event participation capacity! We're limited to 300 cars! If you only want to view the cars and roam around, you don't need to register..... but if you'd like to participate in any of the events (like parking your 5er in the pack at the factory), you'll need to register!

Event schedule: http://www.5erfest2005.org/eventSchedule.asp
Registration information: http://www.5erfest2005.org/eventFeeSchedule.asp

Also note: Event registration will *probably* be closing on or around April 26th, unless we reach capacity before then!

Hope this helps! Any other questions, just let us know! Hope to see you there in May!

Speaking of Bimmer mag, did everyone see the article on 5erFest 2004 in the latest issue?
I may be repeating old info but I thought it was a good article as it had my e12 right in the center of the opening picture.

Thanks Layton. I'll register soon. Not that my car is really worthy of parking next to many of this boards cars, but if I'm going to drive 14 hrs. I should get everything out of it I can.

Bob, I'm sure your car will be at home amongst the pack! Believe me, there will be cars in all sorts of various conditions.... that's what keeps it interesting! Am glad to hear you'll be registering and look forward to meeting you in May!
