Cluster is fine, tach works when plugged into another car. No workee when in 524td!
Replaced appropriate sensor in front of bellhousing with (supposedly) working unit, and still no-go. Are there any other items I'm missing? I figure that pretty much rules everything out, so I guess I'll need a new sensor, or at lease a 100% known good one!
Drop me a hint if you have any other ideas....

i had to replace mine too. according to the factory manual it has to be set to the proper clearance to one of the pins on the flexplate. theres 6 or 8 on the flexplate so you have to have the crank positoned correctly to set the depth. i cant recall the clearance exactly, .030 maybe??
