A while back, somebody on the board posted some great instructions for installing new window guides, without having to remove the windows! There was a process to it that made installation take only 10-15 minutes per window.

I've searched the old board (with 0 success) -- can somebody please re-post the instructions or post a link to them?

Thanks!

Put your window all the way down and remove the old window run channel (rubber guide). Using LOTS of silicone spray on the new window channel, start at the front and fold it and insert it in the grove in the door and work it down into the door at the front continuing to use plenty of silicone spray. The tricky part here is getting it to go around the window glass correctly, you may have to run the window up and down a bit in order to accomplish this. You can tell that the gasket is at the correct depth when the area that corresponds to the gradual vee (around the area of the tweeter speaker) is lined up on both gasket and door. (ie: / )
l
Next step is to get it settled into the channel up the rest of the front and across most of the top of the door. Next is the rear of the door, get the lower rear in first (generally easier than the front), lots of silicone spray and may have to move window up/down a bit.

Lastly is the rear upper corner and any areas near it and you're done!!
