Auto Photo-resize hack?

Can you give me some info on the php hack used to automatically resize the photos?

What is it that you would like to know?

I'll have to search my records and archived modifications stashed away somewhere not easily accessible. I went through several different ones to find the least intrusive script that minimized client processing.

I really like how photos are resized to a predetermined size with a popup to view in full scale.

A friend and I have a php for a local club and users upload all kinds of huge pictures that really F with the thread widths.

I'm not sure what to tell our technical guy (also a forum admin) who handles all this stuff.
