Dealt with bimmerguy2002, and it was an excellent experience.

I was a tad nervous being my first transaction on the board, but sure enough he shipped it very quickly and the item was exactly what I asked for.

strictlyvanagon, aka Jon, was amazing to deal with as a seller. People may bitch and moan about his phone call over computer policy, but if you call him, he will deliver, promptly and fairly. Saved my ass when I was stranded in the middle of nowhere, advanced me the $$ on the purchase of some belts and did all his parts were as advertised or better.

Still has some extremely good condition parts on an '88 535i auto he's still in the process of parting. (Vehicle of a former board member, with a dead 4HP-EH.) If anyone needs Cirrusblau body panels, they looked really, really good...

vance came through on 2.93 lsd. There was a little mix up on the diff that showed up, but Vance took care of it without haste. I doubt I would have received this kind of service face to face with a non-enthusiast/community member.

I'm quite a bit late in posting this feedback, but SpongeBob hooked me up with a SWEET deal on a Super eta tranny with the lowest mileage I've ever seen! The thing looks brand new. Thanks again man!

I've bought alot of stuff in the past month, all of the people have been more than awesome on both prices and shipping! Great parts too ! Here's who they are :)

ChefShawn- complete set of freakin awesome rear headrests. I was missing the other 2 black grommets and he sent them out right away. Parts were spot on!

Bimmerguy2002- bought a lightweight flywheel , all resurfaced and great time on shipping. Thanks for the awesome flywheel !

Greyghost- bought a set of 16" style 5's , exactly as he described them and they look sweet. He even sent me them in Boyd codington boxes ( my neighbor who works on hot rods was really jelous! )

Thanks guys for your honest and great prices! I would definately do business again will all of these members!
( grey ghost I'm waiting for some euro bumpers!!! ) lol

Not a pleasent experience dealing with bimmerguy2002.
I posted a WTB topic looking for a fuel pump,he replyed stating that he has a used pump for $20.I pm'ed him, asking if he can send it to me priority and if the pump is in good working order. He said yes ,works good, priority $15.So i transfered him $35 and received a pump about 4 days later. But when i tested the pump it wasnt working(it is the intank pump btw).So i sent him a PM stating that the pump wasnt working. He replyed, asking me how am i testing it and telling me that most of e28s run with a bad intank pump Anyway.......I explained to him the process of testing the fuel pump(per bentley manual) and havent received the reply from him since.Three more messages from me to him,no reply and i filed with paypal today.Definatelly wouldnt recommend dealing with this person, not a type of a person that will "make things right" if something goes wrong.

You sent 31 dollars, shipping was 11 dollars as per flat rate box at the post office (10.35).
You also sent ONE private message, not three and BTW had no internet for nearly 3 days.
All sales are final with no implied warranty.
I also told you i received the pump from a friend who said it was in working condition, i have no way to verify it other than trusting what he said, it was given to me so he has no reason to lie.

I have sold about 200 things here and had maybe 1 or 2 problems so far, a good track record IMO.

Another bad experience with bimmerguy2002, he overcharged me by $1041 on gas when performing an e2i swap post-haste at my residence. The timing belt wouldn't fit so he cut it and stapled it back together to extend it out by 2 inches and make it work. This was after I decked the block by 2 inches with an air chisel. He still owes me $1900 from overcharging me for a dowel pin.

I've had a couple of recent excellent transactions with Matt (Bimmerguy2002) - both buying and selling. I've found him to be straight-up and honestly present the items for sale - in addition to even recommending other options even if he didn't have those items available. That's rare to find these days. Granted, I don't have a great need for M20-related parts, but he's usually my go-to guy when out yards are barren in that department.

I also had a swiftly-transacted deal with sennasixty8. He was excellent to deal with before and after the sale and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him in the future. I spoke with him on the phone prior to concluding our recent business and was quite satisfied with the outcome.

I sold a set of brake pads to derrith and he paid in a timely manner - even earlier than he had originally quoted. I was very impressed, just as in previous dealings and would never hesitate to do business with him again. Very trustworthy and a top-notch buyer in my mind.

That's all for now. Waiting for a few other transactions to complete and I'll post more later!

Great experience with cgranju - he sold me a center section for a euro bumper in far better shape than the pictures implied. Very up front and honest. Thanks Chris!
