I know the 5.0 and early (1996-1998) Injectors will, just checking because I've got a set I could buy with 1000 miles for $100.

The partt number of the ones I recently put in my 535 are:

Bosch #0280150556
Ford # FOTE-D5B

both are clearly, albeit small, molded into the side of the injector body, one on each side in the yellow plastic.

These are design II's and they are plug and play. There is also a design III which is the slimmer style injectors. Not sure if there would be a benefit to using them over the design II.

I noticed better throttle response and SOP says a bit more torque. Also, improved fuel economy.

Design IIIs work fine, but you have to SLIGHTLY modify the fuel rail because they are a smidge taller than the Design IIs... it works though. use what you can get cheap and reliably seems to be the order of the day.

Well, I'm going to give the counter-offer to the guy and see what happens. I'd really like to get rid of my loud and most likely inefficient 20 year old injectors.

I got a response from the guy. They weren't these injectors:

Bosch #0280150556
Ford # FOTE-D5B

They were ford # FOTE-D5A

He had some of each, so he compared the size of them, and they were the same as the D5B's. So I'll be sporting some of those this spring too! I can't wait to hear how quiet my car will run with no loud injector sound: "clackety-clack, clackety-clack" Woohoo!

I guess I'll be picking up my 1,000 mile old injectors on Monday. BTW I got them for a song... $80 for all 8. :D :D :D
