the car runs well enough, but doesn't seem to be all that powerful, or economical.

when I first put the new motor in, I ran it with open manifolds (SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN) for a few days and it ran like a bat outta hell.... now its not so much like that, with the exhaust and 02 hooked up... runs a little rougher and doesn't really want to rev all that much.

likely need cap and rotor too, just didn't know if i should get "all of the above" from BMA when I call.

How old is the exhaust? Cat over 8 years old? You might be looking at blockage in the down stream pipes.

Here's how ugly the inside of a distributor cap can be:

Change plugs to the correct Bosch Silbers, cap and rotor, and an O2 sensor isn't a bad thing is you don't know how the one in your car is running. The correct one is around $60.00. :D

cat, what cat?????? 2.5" pipe, dynamax chambered muffler, that's it.

I have not done the dist, and likely should... have an extra off the other engine, but I don't know if its for a push-on or screw-on rotor... need to check... and see if its any good either....
