Good experience with 87royal for a BBS RA to complete my set.

Good selling experience with alpinamotorsport for a set of wheels.

Good selling experience with polywogg@verizon.net for a set of wheels.

Good selling experience with maxxfish for a set of wheels.

Justin_FL is a great buyer of used suspension components. Prompt payment appreciated!

NHM635CSi was great and very patient during a rather odd headrest sale.

Another great buying experience with Bennetts22 for an M5 part. Good price, good communication and lightning-fast shipping.

Two great purchases from photopark for M5 parts - also his wealth of knowledge of such parts is very rewarding in itself.

Made a trade with tdbrewst. Came out great, as usual.

Bought a trunklid foam piece from japandrew73. Came as described and shipped quickly. Good communication, too.

323ivabeach, (Nick) all was good, a tiny bit slow to ship, but I got ' 85 528e cylinder head, he included extra's I didn't need, but didn't say no to, like valve cover & injectors, offered to send me back 15 bucks for shipping overcharge. I asked if he had a good starter & confirmed a price of $30 bucks shipped & sent him another 15 bucks, before he had a chance to send the first 15 back. So then he like disappeared, no response to PM's on here or to emails.

I'm not like losing sleep over $30, just wanted to get a good starter. Hope he is doing OK. And thanks for the good used cylinder head at a good price, even if it cost $ 30 more.

Sorry to hear of the situation. At least here on the board you can check a buyer/sellers background by asking people that have transacted with him.

Rob Mastrobuono a.k.a. Seul

Post by 3453cc »

For what it's worth, Seul has disappointed me greatly with the right taillight and intake bellows I recently purchased from his accident part-out.

It wasnt a great deal of money involved, just the 'common decency' principle that was breached, which really set me off.

This individual claims to be highly educated, a nuclear physicst according to his profile, but will not return my emails or PM's for what amounts to a $50 concession.

He wrapped his taillight with 3 separate bubblewrap strips, and secured it well with tape, however he didnt use a typical square or rectangular cardboard shipping box. Instead, he took a flat piece of cardboard and bent/folded it around the light, bellows and Beru wires, in effect creating a custom-sized box. This eliminated any additional space 'cushion' inside the box, which when stuffed with newspaper, etc. can provide the extra protection needed for fragile plastic lenses.

On the intake bellows, his ad states clearly that this item is no more than 1 year old, but it had severe cracking all over, especially on the smaller openings, which IMO indicates it's much older than 1 year.

So I paid him $40 for the light, $15 for the bellows, $25 for the wires, plus $20 for shipping. I offered to eat the shipping and $5 off the 2 damaged items if he would accept to refund $50 back. Radio Silence.......

Heck, if he would just have the common decency to REPLY, I would only ask for $40 back!!!

What a waste......

Anyway, thanks for listening to my rant, and thanks to everyone else I've transacted with, whom ALL have been great to deal with (you too VL :^).

Great buying experience from Ray in Phoenix. I bought a used ECU from him for my '85 535i, and it arrived well packed and safely almost as quickly as I sent the money via Paypal. If only AutohausAZ shipped this fast!

A+ seller highly recommended.
