To DANS528E, I just moved from there! I may be moving back but currently I'm living in South Florida. Good luck finding people to ride with there because I've searched EVERYWHERE and nobody seemed interested.
I even went as far as Washington, PA and tried to see what I could round up at Bobby Rahal BMW. I use to have to drive there to get my car serviced so I would try to make small talk with some of the guys who drove late model 5 series but no one was game. I went to Pittsburgh a few times for some of the Pirates games to only find senior citizens driving e28s when I did spot them.
I've come to find out a lot of the guys there have newer BMWs and don't want to hang around the older models. Check Morgantown from time to time. I've seen a couple there driving by but never stopped due to constant discouragement. If I'm ever in Fairmont I'll definitely keep you in mind because I know how it is. Good luck with your search though! Let me know what turns up! I left mid January so I doubt much has changed but you never know.
Currently I've met a few guys down here that are down to get together and ride so, we're working on organizing a few things to fit to everyones schedule. If anybody reads this in the West Palm/Broward area hit me up and let me know if you want to meet up. I can picture rollin by Beach Place taking up both lanes filled with e28s
