Hey Guys,
this is my brother Shawn, he sent me this pic and others from over in Iraq, he is a Sargent and is in the Marines 1st Expeditionary Force. He is on his second tour, (not by choice) and has a total of over 26 mos in Iraq. He was there for the intitial invasion and was in the group of Marines that got soo far ahead of the rest of the troops that they had to stop and fight for 3 days (alone and in a sand storm) while the rest of the reinforcements caught up, he said if they had had to wait another day they would have been over run prolly.....
But he is a great guy, a greater soldier and has been decorated several times while there....Shawn is the Man!!!!!

Hey BNC,

That is a great photo. What exactly does "Wildflower" refer to?
Remind me...didn't you use to post as "BNC Wildflower"?
Sorry...can't recall exactly.

At any rate, I send my kudos and thanks to to Shawn and his comrades in arms over Iraq and Afghanistan. I wish them safety and success in their work during their tour of duty and hope they make it home safely and in one piece (physically and emotionally).

Best wishes,
Tim

Yes, I am the chef, she is the personality up front, basically she is the Wildflower and I am just the muscle in the back......LOL
I am not so good at kissin ass, Imagine that...LOL, but she is and she is the personality up front that keeps them coming back....
we both handle the business end of the restaurant, she is the tight one and I am the one that makes sure we have what we need to get it done....
we make a good pair, but working with and living with your wife can be quite trying at times,IT"S NOT FOR EVERYONE....... that is why I have a BMW, something to distract me when she really starts to get on my nerves......LOL........gotta love her though......she does a damn good job

Thanks guys for the words and prayers, HOPEFULLY, SHawn will come home in March, Hopefully!!!! Shawn keeps getting transfered to new groups then back to his original group and he keeps missing the trip home because he is with another group. He is currently with the NAHA group??? But should be transfered back to his original group to come home soon and all I hope is he makes it home this time, he has been there toooooo long and it is starting to show in his emails.....someone in the Marines needs to keep up with soldiers time in to make sure that the people who have been there the longest come home first, my daughters friend was only there 8 mos and got to come home and get out, then you have Shawn who has been there pretty much since the beginning and is still there.....
But hopefully Shawn will be home next month and of course he gets the big steak and endless beer pitcher at the WIldflower.....might just have to get a stripper for him too.....LOL
Yeah, Mom would love that........
Thanks again guys!!!
