You are a douche canoe for sure. I do think the car looks cool and said so. Of course a car looks good low, but race cars don't have to go over speed bumps or potholes. It has nothing to do with "evaluating the road conditions." In the real world, where I drive my lowered M5 I have to slow the hell down for driveways, bumps, etc. If my car were that low, I'd just have to go home. I get to drive much more because I haven't dropped it to the ground.FABEL wrote:these comments never make sensemooseheadm5 wrote:In a world without speed bumps and potholes and driveway entrances, I might run my car that low. This is not that world. Looks cool, though.
& to a person that chooses to take his time driving & evaluating road conditions,
IT IS WORTH IT.
everyone, I mean everyone agrees that a lowered car looks better. car companies, race teams, even hot rods all lower their cars for photoshoots . . . some choose to keep their car looking photo fresh 365 a year.
just because you can't handle the drive doesn't mean this is true for all.
I know this post probably seems harsh; maybe I am sorry for this.
regardless, it's his drive, so my thought would be that it's not for you to worry about.
Obviously the OP posted because he wanted to show his car and get opinions. He is no idiot- he knows that some of these opinions will be unfavorable.
You know nothing of what driving I can handle. Go hang upside down with your head in a bucket of hyena offal.
Moose, if I ever meet you in person, I'm taking a picture of your car bottoming out on my wallet, which is always empty from buying car parts.
Anyone can drive a lowered car, it isn't THAT hard. I NEVER hit potholes, but speedbumps and entrances at that height can be interesting. As said before the only thing that really touches is the exhaust which I don't mind hitting here and there. That is why mos people don't do it. You can really get anywhere you want to unless it is absolutely absurd. As said, is not for everyone, and if the car was mint, I would not do it. As it is not, I don't see a few scuff marks on the underside as a big deal It does help to have a car for performance in the garage as well.
I will gladly destroy your wallet

I maturely came in this thread & complimented a fellow member of the board.
look through ANY post of mine; I have never put someone down & certainly never called a fellow member names.
if you don't like my replies, don't read them, but I can guarentee that EVERYTHING I write is either in complimentary form or slight advice to maximize what's already there.
I come here to learn & you sir are disrupting class. think of your age & how immature it is to have done for the rest of us
as I will continue to go on learning/ sharing/ encouraging the forum's multiple directions while you continue to disrupt.
shame on you!
(edited because I'm not that angry of a person )
...Anyway, I think Moose's car is pretty darn COOL!
