How to turn off signatures and avatars?

Post by mooseheadm5 »

I'd like to do so at work and when on my phone, but am apparently too stupid to figure it out. Can someone give me a hand?

edit, nevermind, I must have confused the options of this board with another. I thought you could change it in the profile settings.

Then you can't post.

But I believe this is your only option.

You are correct, but I'd still like to be able to post.

Go to your profile and look for the entry Board Style. Change the drop down to hide avatars/sig.

I don't spend a whole lot of time to read posts on MyE28, but this was the original announcement ages ago:

The only "issue" with the feature and what you're asking for is that it's not a location specific setting. In other words, sigs and avatars are either on or off for a given user. You can't set it up so they're on while you're at home and off when browsing from your phone and at work.

You probably knew that, I just wanted to make sure.

I pretty much turn them off during the week and back on for the weekend.
