Damn. Well I guess that's off the list.slammin_e28 wrote:They only came in a coupe and 'vert. I wish they made a sedan.tsmall07 wrote:e46 ///M3 (sedan)
Edit: I suppose I could deal with an e46 coupe since it wouldn't be my only vehicle.

I'll go ahead and throw this bad boy into the mix as well:

Most of mine aren't stock BMWs:
1) E30 M3 Sport Evo (okay, this one would be bone stock)
2) E28 Alpina B9 (whenever Mike Gray wants to sell, which hopefully happens after I can afford it)
3) E34 touring with M30B35, 5-speed, and TCD stage 2 (I'm there, except the TCD part)
4) E46 touring with S54, 6-speed.
5) E39 M5 (stock)
6) 2002tii, Inka, S14 ... oh hell, let's not be coy--Roy's car or its clone.
7) E36/7 M roadster (S54)
8) My ideal race car build: E46 M3 built to NASA GTS5/BMW C-Mod rules. I think with a budget of about $80k, I could get such a beast down to ~2350 lbs wet and be pushing 400 WHP, with AST 5300 dampers, true coilovers front/rear, raised rear subframe and tubular, adjustable upper/lower control arms, a front roll center correction kit with tubular arms, this list goes on a very long way ...
9) X5 4.8is to tow number 8.

this sounds fun! all cars listed are required to have manual transmissions and LSD's(as if there was any other way...)
k, in no particular order
1) e34 M5 Touring
2) e36 M3 4-door
3) 2002tii Touring
4) e28 M5
5) exit model Z3 M Coupe
6) e24 M6
7) E9 3.0 cs
and if I had the money to quench my curiosity:
8) e12 w/ complete e46 M3 drivetrain swap along with coilovers and rack & pinion....and the brakes to match

M30 from an E28 or E34, with a 5 speed short shift kit... Is that better?wkohler wrote:That's not very original. They already have M30s.BMWgiant wrote:E3 Bavaria w/ M30 conversion

And I would like it to look similar to this, but in green with brown buffalo Recaro interior:

Sounds like someone needs to host a wrenchfest with a single mission in mind...C.R. Krieger wrote:You're on your own for the SS kit. '87 M30B34 drivetrain + Bavaria = 3.5 Barbarian.

I want your car.... That would my ideal car, next to that Bavaria I described above...cvillebimmer wrote:e32 5MT turbo
Next:
e39 540iT w/ 6spd conversion or
e38 740i Sport with 6spd conversion
And if someone wrecks my car, I'll find an e34iT to swap all the parts into.
Is there a write up somewhere on your E32? I'd like to see more photos of it, other then your avatar!

It's a bit out of date: http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?t=56806BMWgiant wrote: Is there a write up somewhere on your E32? I'd like to see more photos of it, other then your avatar!
Thanks Tim, it's a lot coming from you , the e28 body was and is one of my favorite and I allways wanted a Alpina B7Turbo till I found mine.m-racer wrote:I have always admired Sia's E28 Alpina B7 and I would like to own an E30 Alpina B6 3.5S (E30 M3 body and chassis with a tuned Alpina 3.5 big six)
It is funny that you mentioned in above E30 Alpina B6 3.5S, That is another favorite Alpina of mine, as a matter of fact my contact in Germany is looking around to find one for me to import, as you know only 62 of them were built.
Other favorite and must have Alpinas and BMWs that I always wanted and have in my bunker:
e34 B10 #523 out of 572
e32 B11 #189 out of 332
e39 Dinan
e28 525i ( 2.5 L - big six)

Not at all, cus it's a unique set up and super light (2600 lb) and with a little modification on suspension and engine/exhaust you can turn it to a very fun car to drive , same as a go cart like handeling and quick responce.rmiddendorf wrote:Ok, not trying to be a jerk here but don't otherwise know how to ask... why?B7Turbo wrote:e28 525i ( 2.5 L - big six)

I had one of these - '94 in Brocade Red with beige leather - but I found that the throwing stars wouldn't work on the iX, due to different offset and hub diameter, so I went for these 17-inch wheels from an X5.535is-pa wrote:...e34 525ix wagon 5spped black on modena with throwing stars...
As far as my list goes - the 507 and Z8 would have to be right up there, along with the E9 CSL and, for those family trips away, an E23 745i/M88 (SA spec).
