[QUOTE="RonP"]BMW is still "giving it to us" and only offering certain colors that are deemed acceptable by the American public. These people are seriously out of touch from reality.
My .02.
BTW, have you confirmed that Wallace is headin west yet?

Yes Ron, Wallace is on his way. He was picked up yesterday.

I've seen more Individual spec BMW's (mainly M3's) on the roads in the US lately. There is a Estorelli Blue e46 M3 just down the road from me , and I've seen a couple of Daytona Violet e46's on the road as well. Check out the selections at BMWindividual.de, there are some pretty cool build a car options.
TIA

My cousin has a euro 528 that I'm almost sure is Henna, I haven't looked under the hood to read the body tag, but it's a bright red-orange color very much like the photo you posted. At some point in its past, someone painted the grille so it's body color as well.
It's a pretty cool car, it also has cloth sport seats and a trunk spoiler, plus he put 16" Mille Miglias on it.

I saw a Henna/buffalo M635csi locally and thought the color rocked on the euro-spec E24. Seems equally as rare on the E24 as the E28s. Also at SE Sharkfest '04 there was another M635csi in Henna with pearl beige. And Cirrus blue/Llama is an awesome combo for an E24 if you want the sleeper look. Over on the Roachfly E24 board there is a guy with a Cyprus green E24, looks great. But that was a US color for '80 on the sixers.
Too bad we didn't get all the choices. But that is why you can always repaint the car.

[QUOTE="DGM Calgary"]I'm really liking the first - that one looks like British Racing Green - my second favorite color on a car.

Frankly, that first green looks too light for BRG, but it looks just right for German Cop Green. All you gotta do is paint the doors & roof white, letter 'em "Polizei", slap on some eensy blue lights & a stupid siren and there ya go!
