SOLD '95 525iT Schwarz/black

Post by 1st 5er »

It's this car.

Stuff will be "fair"ly cheap, not free, + shipping.
If it'll fit is a USPS Flat Rate priority box, that's the way it'll come.
All those other parts you wanted that sold cheap some place else that you missed out on,
well you're getting another chance.

Name you part and your "fair" price, here in the thread.
Not responsible for lost or stolen PM's.
I'll respond here and PM you my address for mailing a Money Order, sorry but I don't do incoming PayPal.

If you need to see a pic or know condition, ask in the thread, I'll respond accordingly.

Everything on the car functioned prior to the accident.

The entire interior has already been spoken for, not paid for yet though.
I'll update this if I don't end up seeing some green.

The car has 125,656 miles on it.

The instrument cluster is gone.
The sunroof switch cover is gone.

If you posted interest in the "T-Bones Run in the Family" thread, you'll get priority treatment here.

Do you need a Schwarz one specifically, or will another color work?

His E34 is black, so he'd prefer black.

Any idea on the availability of the parts I mentioned in the other thread:

Rocker covers and trim from the door bottoms, washer nozzles, driver seat bottom (mine has a split) or just the leather and heaters (if equipped) from the seats, though it would surprise me greatly if someone wouldn't want both of the seats intact, and various trim from the hatch area.

I asked because I have a friend with a black one.
Want me to ask him what he'd take for the right front fender?

Color specific interior parts are spoken for, see original post.

Shipping for the other items should be in the $30.00 range.
Just a guess, I'm no expert.

Edited for grammar correction.

I'd be interested in the following:

1. Front Kidney Grilles - pretty please!
2. The main electrical console where the radio is. You know, the one with the OBC with AC/Heating/switches/fan controls that accepts the single-DIN radio. That whole unit minus of course the radio but including the black trim on each side. My AC seems to not work (AC) and the defrost button doesn't do shit. I haven't even checked fuses, but pricing it out anyway.
3. Steering wheel column left hand "BC" lever. My onboard computer isn't working when I press the switch in. Guess that's it...?
4. How much for the whole sunroof? Mine doesn't work, and I am just pricing it out. Mine should get working if I just manually open it and futz with it.
5. Front highbeam passenger side - mine is broken...
6. Fog light bulbs only? I might have a broken fog but I just need bulbs if you'd throw them in. New are 5 bucks?
7. Cupholder unit and cupholder trim and trim around cigarette lighter if it's wood.
8. Glovebox shocks? maybe? hah mine appear to be gone.
9. Gas cap HINGE not the cap metal piece itself. Just the hinge on the inside.

Give me a PM and I will give you my #. And I will see if I need anything else too ;)

Thanks a lot man! Glad your wife is OK from what I saw!

For sure I want:

1. Front Kidney Grilles - $15.00

2. Driver side front bumper light - the small horizontal light in the bumper. $5.00

4. Front highbeam passenger side - mine is broken... $5.00 please include bulb?

5. Fog light bulbs only? I might have a broken fog but I just need bulbs if you'd throw them in. New are 5 bucks? - $would you be kind to throw these in?

6. Cupholder unit and cupholder trim and trim around cigarette lighter if it's wood. - Perhaps this isn't the cupholder, is it an ashtray? No cupholder? What covers the cigarette lighter and is just to the right of the cig lighter? Looks like a cupholder or something to me but it isn't installed on mine any longer.

7. Glovebox shocks? maybe? hah mine appear to be gone. - $5.00 - could you please include screws?

I have no idea on parts prices for these cars. I think I am being fair. I will gladly pay shipping + $10 bucks for your trouble in packing it. If you think that the prices are too low, whatever, just write back. Thank you so much sir.

If this picture is what your center console looks like:

https://webfiles.uci.edu/redwards/publi ... onsole.jpg

I would like everything including the OBC IF your OBC is the 16 (?) button one. This image looks to be a mini-version of mine, I have quite a few buttons on mine. I want everything including the black trim, as well as the thing that pulls out. Is that for change? Ashtray? Cigarette lighter should be to the left? I need that component, but I bet yours is black... Works for me even though mine is tan... If you have a pic, I'd take that too, but I don't want you scurrying around for me excessively. Thanks man.

I'm interested in some tailgate items if they are still available?

* The big brake light at the top of the tailgate

* The rear wiper motor & arm

* The tool kit housing....the entire assembly

Please let me know if any/all of the items are available and what you want for them.

Thanks.

Just as a heads up, this part is a PAIN IN THE ASS to remove. I don't know how TCD managed to sell me one that didn't get destroyed during removal. My advice is to buy the whole piece of glass if Sherman will sell it.

If Danny doesn't come through with the rear window, I'm still interested (as posted in the original thread back in Jan). I'll be at Vintage. $50? Not sure what they go for.

Alright, I'm back.
Let me try to sort this out.
Here's the part's request from the other thread.
They get first dibs on the specific part mentioned, unless it's a color specific interior item.

Not sure the price, list your offer here and I'll pass it on.

The interior color specific parts are spoken for locally.
The other parts are yours with an acceptable offer, prepayment, and if you can wait I'll bring them to The V.

Be a bit more specific please. Are you just wanting the center chrome finished parts, or the whole assembly?
I'd rather sell it complete.

2. Driver side front bumper light - the small horizontal light in the bumper. $5.00
OK

3. The main electrical console where the radio is. You know, the one with the OBC with AC/Heating/switches/fan controls that accepts the single-DIN radio. Along with all the other items this will work.

4. Front highbeam passenger side - mine is broken... $5.00 please include bulb?
$25.00 including bulb.

5. Fog light bulbs only? I might have a broken fog but I just need bulbs if you'd throw them in. New are 5 bucks? - $would you be kind to throw these in?
I'll throw in both for $5.00.

6. Cupholder unit and cupholder trim and trim around cigarette lighter if it's wood. - Perhaps this isn't the cupholder, is it an ashtray? No cupholder? No cupholder.

7. Glovebox shocks? maybe? hah mine appear to be gone. - $5.00 - could you please include screws?
One shock and one strap $5.00 with hardware.

Gotta wait and see what Spen wants
If he doesn't want the complete assembly, you're next in line.

i'll take the hood to if it's salvagable.
The hood was not damaged in the accident.
I'd rate it' a 9 to 9.5.
It's a DOT-R stamped unit.
The washer nozzles will possibly be gone, see mooseheadm5's request.

* The big brake light at the top of the tailgate
Greg E34's got dibs on the glass, let's see if he wants to separate the light.

* The rear wiper motor & arm
The arm is not the original.

* The tool kit housing....the entire assembly
Including tools? Don't think they are all there.
If it's color specific, I'd have to look, it goes to the local buyer of the complete interior.
I'll compare against our Black/Tan this evening.

Please let me know if any/all of the items are available and what you want for them.
You get the honor of making the offer.

Thanks.

The glass is yours, using the "first dibs" rule.
I'll PM my address to you.

Do you need the brake light bar at the top.
If not, I'll try to separate for Danny.
Or, if yours is intact on broken glass send him yours.
Let me know.

Wait, is there something different about removing the lamp with wiring vs. just removing the lamp/circuit board? I re-soldered new bulbs to my CHMSL board and it was a piece of cake to get the lamp housing in and out. What am I missing?

Sherman: I claimed dibs on the map light, but Kohler shipped me one gratis (thanks again, Chris!) so I am all set.

Interesting....I have several bad bulbs in my big brake light and that's why I'm interesting in getting another one....I'm assuming that a replacement won't have a bunch also burned out. Sounds like I should take a look at just replacing the bad bulbs since Tammer says it's a piece of cake....am I right Tammer?
