The was on the Roachfly 6-series board. It belongs to Juliab Seager in Australia. He's been working on it for a while now and has been posting updates and pictures. I'm not sure but I think it's just and Alpina Intake valve cover and body kit on a regular six. He even has a rear AC unit that mounts under the rear parcel shelf, it's probably aftermarket but it's pretty cool for sure (that's another set of pictures though).
I could do without the gold trim. Notice the power steering assisted brakes have been removed. The Coolant catch can has been moved and replaced.

E24 Turbo Eye Candy (56K beware) UPDATE!
It appears as if the brake boost has been switched to the left side, away from the right side and converted to vacuum boost. I wonder how it's actuated -- cables, or linkage?
The plate holding the vacuum/boost, ICV, and throttle cable is a neat setup -- a neat solution to where to mount them all and block off the old throttle hole at once.
