My M535i Motorbay after Tidy Up
Hi All
I thought I would take a few pictures of my Motor Area and show you guys how with a little scrubing from the wife my car came up clean as a whistle.
"What do you think of the wife"
Oh sorry "the Car"
And My Personal Little Detailing Wife Herself

That is remarkably clean, do you know what products she used?Golf Pro wrote:We have been married 24 years, You should have see what she used to do for me LOL.
I asked her to wash my undies and she said go to hell, I would prefer to clean your motor bay. on that old heap of shit out in the Garage than do that shit for you.
Hi Mate
She started off with Muck off and then dishwashing liquid and hot water,
Then used mothers 1 then Mothers 2 and finished with Mothers 3 on the Paintwork.
She said she has seen me polish the car before and followed the Mothers Steps on the Bottle (This part amazed me because she is a Blonde)
On the motor after the Dishwashing liquid she used a small brush and toothbrush to get into the little corners.
Finished off with spraying wd40 onto a rag and scrubbed all motor parts.
I was doing a few lessons and got home to the nice suprise and was over the moon that she had done a better job than I could have ever done.
I raced out and bought her a bottle of Perfume to thank her.
Best part is now it will be much easier to keep clean.
I have entered the car in concourses before but alway lost out in the Motor area, I maybe in with a chance now because the rest of the car is in really good nick and looks like a 4 year old car.
Cheers

Wish my engine bay was that clean.. haha. My girlfriend wouldn't even know what WD40 is!!
Whats your VIN by the way? I'm in Sydney and have an identical car to you, except mine is a bit more.. er.. environmentally unfriendly. mine is 1670201- I'm trying to find out when they switched from having the master cylinder on the left to on the right. Mine is on the right side.

Sorry to hijack the thread but heres a couple of it a few years ago when it was in its prime Sadly the rust has gotten worse... however i'm planning a full respray in alpineweiss III, changing the wheels from black back to silver centres (still with polished bolts and lips) and i want to lower the front a bit more.. thinking spax springs. cbf with coil overs.
I'll post up a build thread when I start working on it again...
