I cannot fathom this. My wife WANTED her next e28 to be a manual. And well, she has it! :alright:

*And she knows how to change the doors on an e28. All by herself. :D Pregnant. Booyah!

My wife wants nothing to do with my 250k+ mile, 28 year old, rusty, leaky (soggy really), mouse infested e28. :dunno:

Pour a ton of mud on your car and hire a prostitute to role play as your wife and tell her to clean it.

Hi Mate
She started off with Muck off and then dishwashing liquid and hot water,
Then used mothers 1 then Mothers 2 and finished with Mothers 3 on the Paintwork.
She said she has seen me polish the car before and followed the Mothers Steps on the Bottle (This part amazed me because she is a Blonde)
On the motor after the Dishwashing liquid she used a small brush and toothbrush to get into the little corners.
Finished off with spraying wd40 onto a rag and scrubbed all motor parts.
I was doing a few lessons and got home to the nice suprise and was over the moon that she had done a better job than I could have ever done.
I raced out and bought her a bottle of Perfume to thank her.
Best part is now it will be much easier to keep clean.
I have entered the car in concourses before but alway lost out in the Motor area, I maybe in with a chance now because the rest of the car is in really good nick and looks like a 4 year old car.
Cheers
Addam

I think you've got yourself a real keeper there! I can't get my wife to even vacuum the interior of HER daily driver, much less do any detailing work on my cars (she's still a keeper though!)

Your wife is hot and not because she is fondling the nether regions of your bonnet. I think I could get myself into a lot of trouble if I took a trip down under ;)

nah but for real, no wife poaching intended.

Wish my engine bay was that clean.. haha. My girlfriend wouldn't even know what WD40 is!!

Whats your VIN by the way? I'm in Sydney and have an identical car to you, except mine is a bit more.. er.. environmentally unfriendly. mine is 1670201- I'm trying to find out when they switched from having the master cylinder on the left to on the right. Mine is on the right side.

Sorry to hijack the thread but heres a couple of it a few years ago when it was in its prime :( Sadly the rust has gotten worse... however i'm planning a full respray in alpineweiss III, changing the wheels from black back to silver centres (still with polished bolts and lips) and i want to lower the front a bit more.. thinking spax springs. cbf with coil overs.

I'll post up a build thread when I start working on it again...

The metric wheels from the M535i are the only metric wheels I would buy. Those are really unique and cool.
