Graham posted over on the old forum and if you haven't seen his 20 minute video you need to download it. It's absolutely incredible and really does a good job of illustrating the awesome power of Mother Nature.

You guys that live in areas of the country with benign weather will be surprised by some of tis footage. I was completely captivated by it, but I have a past life that causes me to be fasinated by weather.

For those of you that don't know, I was a Meterological Equipment Technician when I was in the USAF. I was stationed at Tinker AFB, OK right in the middle of Tornado Alley. For several years when I was part of 6th Weather Sq. Mobile, I was involved with supporting the SESAME project for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Sever Storm Laboratory in Norman, OK. We would set up over 20 Rawinsonde Sites and launch weather ballons into severe thunderstorms to gather realtime data about these storms. This data would then be analyzed by NOAA/NSSL and compared against what they were seeing on the then, experimental Doppler RADARs at Norman, OK and Cimmaron, OK. It was pretty heady stuff being out on the open plains of Iowa, Okla, Kansas, and Tx when it was raining so hard you couldn't see 2 ft in winds of over 60 MPH. I've seen and been in weather that would literally put the "Fear of God" in any normal person. You haven't seen SHIT for weather until you seen a tornado on the ground anywhere from 1/4 -1/2 mile in diameter, that's ripping the sod up. I've seen it live and in person when I did this stuff while in the USAF.

He's coming out with a full 2 hour film in March.
