Can someone explain to me why this 325iX just sold for $7600? The starting bid was $100, no reserve, so you can't blame the seller!
That's the highest price for an iX that I think I've seen in a while.

$7600 325iX on eBay?
Well, it looks pretty clean from the pics and the mileage is relatively low for a 17+ year old car. They are rare in numbers , and they are great cars (I've had two) if you live in the northern climate (awsome in the snow!), but they are not cheap to maintain (front suspension , brakes need regular replacement). But I'd have to agree that $7600 for an iX, even if mint condition plus OMG its an automatic, is excessive. Must have been two buyers that were interested to get the price up that high. I would have expected more like $4-5K

GEEZ. I really wish I had $40 to blow on posting my car on eBay. I could write a BADASS auction description for this car and have over 100 pictures of every single nook and cranny of this thing.
Do you think I could score 3 or 4 grand for this car on eBay? If it sold for over $3500, I'd be in the green over the whole 1 1/2 years of ownership, including purchase price, gas, and maintenance/repairs. I think I just may post it on eBay next payday (middle of this month) just for the helluvit!
