Apparently its monsoon season in Central Ohio. I opened the trunk to see if water was leaking in. It wasn't until I opened the trunk.

Then I proceeded to get a towel and dry it up and leave another in there to soak up any more moisture that gets in.

I do, however, need to replace my trunk seal with the brand new one also sitting in the trunk. I just need to get the proper glue needed to glue it down... well that and figure out what the proper glue needed actually is... lets try out that search function...

New ignition rotor, cleaned up distributor cap, new plugs, valve adjustment & new cover gasket. Found and corrected a sizable post-AFM vac leak. Another step in the right direction!

Last night... Pulled the driver's door panel off & found that the reason the inside door handle disappeared on my son was because he managed to break both mounting tabs off of the thing.

Image

He said the trim piece came off and he was trying to put it back on and the whole handle disappeared. No idea how he did that. But that was two days ago, and since then he's been lowering the window to get out of the car, and at some point the lift mechanism crunched what was left of the handle. New part on order; under $10, so nbd, but still... How'd he manage to do that?

While we had the door panel off we re-greased the window mechanism; it was dry as a bone.
Wow does it work better now!

Instead of wiring in rear fogs to my new euro fog light switch as planned, wired my city lights to the rear fog switch. Now I can have ONLY my city lights on. Before I had them wired into my parking lights.

All of this was done after doing this yesterday to my thumb with my tablesaw.

Found this in the shop after I got back from the ER.

Yesterday the auxiliary fan stop working and I had no other choice but to changed the fuse box today. I should have done this last year when I first pulled the fuse box from the junk yard. I was surprised that the air condition was still working.

Looks like your manicurist cut that last nail a little too short, you should probably get your nails done somewhere else. ;)

Glad you still have as much of that finger as you do, that was a close call.

Drove by my daughters house, then peeked into my daughters garage window made sure our babe is safe and sound :)

We are waiting for a third quote to change the 2 front fenders out (somehow the rust took over in the wheel arches).

Diff mount.
Need to do my subframe bushings. Right rear is clunking.
I did them at 180K. Now that I am pushing 350K, they are "done" again.
I think I did Meyle HDs last time but I'm not sure, I'll will be using them this time for sure.
