Group drive from Houston to Austin Sunday 10-02-2011

Post by 1st 5er »

Not my doing, but I'm tagging along.

There are a couple of E28s committed, are there others?

This quoted from an email...
I have had a few questions on this. This is not a BMW CCA sanctioned drive. Therefore we will not be covered by club insurance. Speed is entirely up to each driver, but it would be good if we could stay as together as possible. This is also not a sightseeing tour - this is intended to be a spirited drive.

Bring 2 way radio's if you have them. Ideally we should hit flat creek winery around Noon. I am going to call them today to make sure they will have room for us. Looks like we will have somewhere between 10 and 15 cars. B-) cool

Lime Creek Road is on the route, hopefully both ways.

10-2 is Sunday. If you're coming on Sunday you all need to show up at Cars & Coffee again. This month is German car month so we need to represent well.
