Brian,
Dude....I see you're grasp of HTML is similar to mine
Why don't you contract with one of the webmasta e28-nutz here on the board?
They don't have to be local to you to program, right?
Cheers,
Tim
Ya got me. Wonder what the legalities are/were/is? Got enough on my plate here to keep me busy for sure.

You can get permission to "HTK" on line from BMW,s Mobile tradition, I think it covers E28.
http://www.bmw.com/generic/com/en/fasci ... index.html
It's under "Parts supply", but you need to register and get a username and login.
I have just checked, it covers E28!
The link works, but I am unable to register. It gives me an error webpage after I register. Anyone else have any luck with this site?
I had some problems at first, but I updated my webbrowser and then it worked ok.
Maybe you can send a mail to "Mobile Tradition" (bmw.tradition@bmw.de) and ask them if they can give you any hint on why it does not work. They are very friendly and helpful there.
Good luck.

I've been registered for at least a year now. I like this better than the CD ETK or the online ETK that was the original subject of this thread. It's current, it has a section of MT repro parts, and it has a "where-used" function that is great for finding from what other BMW's a particular part can be had. Ups the U-pull-it and eBay success rate considerably.

Yes, I agree it's much better then the online ETK.
I started checking parts for my E12.
When I registerd the E28 was not in there. I think it went to "Archive" with some late 2003 version of the ETK CD, and probably at the same time into "Mobile tradition".
