Was referring to the OP, although have you checked yours? Big wheels tear them apart. Hell, stock wheels tear them apart.

All my steering components are brand new BMW parts & the car has only done 12 miles since I had them fitted.

Sub frame was also sand blasted & checked for cracks before being powder-coated.

Wheel offsets on 28's are very important. My Hartge's are the same as the factory wheels so the stress on the wheel bearings is also the same.
Also I'm running 225's on the front which is factory M5 width.

I foresee an ugly end to this thread.

Though considering the pictures it started with, an ugly end would be fitting.

you should mount a jeep frame under that car and do it right with some dana 60's and a 6" lift.

OK... Purists close your eyes. It's getting a V8 with a vast aftermarket, a 6 speed trans, subframe connectors, rack and pinion swap, and a live axle with H2H long arm suspension. My goal is to have a track prepped 4-door sedan, that can be driven daily and possibly will be driven occasionally once I move back to Ohio. I am eliminating all the weak points. 20's will not work for this. However, the 18's I have back home will. Right now though I am still in Florida for a few more months and the TRX tires that were on it have cords showing. The 17" BBS wheels I bought for it need 1" spacers. Spacers are not something I trust on any car much less one with lug bolts not studs and nuts. They were supposed to fit my car but they did not. I took them back off to get some wheel Adapters and a friend offered a substantial amount for them and I could not turn it down. I had these laying in the shed. I was bs'ing about how it would be funny if they would mount up, they do. I kinda like the look, so until it goes back to Ohio and gets the prep started, its rolling on 20's. Am I offended if you don't like it, no. Am I gonna go cry to my mommy if you don't agree with the things I intend to do to my car, no. Its MY car. I will do as I see fit with it, because that's what personalization is all about. I can promise that if any body introduces their car to 10 people, 8 of them will have something about it they do not agree with.

I asked for opinions, I got them and I appreciate the input. Especially since I understand that you are looking through the narrow window of two pictures I snapped real quick with my cell phone. If anyone wishes, let me know, and I will document the entire build up and prep work. Thank you all.

If track prepped + live rear axle; then track = drag strip.

Don't care if you want to add more power or actually improve the suspension, but you realize that to install the live rear axle you will have to pretty much gut and tube the rear of the car, right?

track prep + live axle does not necessarily mean drag strip. I have found that an H2H long arm setup has incredible capabilities in corners and is almost as reliable as an independent rear but does not require as much attention to be reliable. and i may do some drifting with it eventually and i would prefer to do without the wheel hop normally associated with IRS.
