Teaching my wife how to park

Post by TSMacNeil »

Today I stopped by my wife's work to see a bunch of old friends who were in town for a check-airman meeting at an old airline I worked for...I was very surprised to see how she parks the E34:

-completely away from the other cars! I was delighted.

Damn. I thought you were supplying the secret to getting the wife to park that way. I have come back in town and found a new door ding on mine before. "Oh, I took it to (names store)"
Obviously not as skilled as your wife:)

In the first picture, there's a van on the other side of her car. Beyond that van is the parking lot for that building. It's full of cars.

She's actually parked in an easement for the airport fire department...so that could actually go badly now that I think about it. (I think she knows all those guys anyway so I think she's safe from a ticket)

Wait, you mean they CAN be trained? This might change my outlook on dating.

If there are cars on the otherside of the van then she's still too close. Where she parked means the next person in will park in between and thats too close for me =)

Most people wouldn't think to park in the fire department easement (red painted curbs)...except my wife.

Well....
She's taking much better care of this car than the Volvo when she drove it. However, she has about 20 pairs of high-heeled shoes in the car. (She can't drive in 4+ inch heels) I finally bought a big red basket for her to store all her shoes in her trunk. Not sure why they have to stay in the car...she has about another 50 pairs in our closet.

So, I'd call her "sorta trained"..a work in progress.

Have you told her "Nice shoes!" recently? :heehee:
