I was dead set on finding a replacement for my 535i this spring, but for what e36 m3's are going for right now, I'm going to just hang on to the E28. So now the project(s) begin! I've got big plans for 5erFest:
:D :D :D
Transmission replacement
Short Shifter
a repaint on my E39 Style 32's
new boot and bonnet panels with a repaint
roof repaint
3.73 lsd rear end
"IS/m5" front spoiler
new custom exhaust
lots of new rubber parts all around
shadowline trim
steering box replacement

I'm sure I'll have more to work on than just these projects, but I'm just starting to analyze what will be done in March/April/May.

Now, to register for 5erFest.... ~0

Feels good, doesn't it? That's a lotta work to do in a few months, but if you have the time on the weekends, go for it!

Well, not so much time on the weekends, but time after work and on days off during the week. Luckily I have "Der Wagen" - 1993 Escort Wagon beater to get me to and from work.

I hate it when my e28 bites me. It likes to sink its teeth straight into my wallet! ~0

I have enough cash in two e28s that I could buy a whole fleet of them and never drive the same car all week!
