Lets post all our non-affiliated cars for sale here in this thread which we cycle monthly. I have no affiliation with these cars or sellers unless otherwise noted and cannot endorse them but am putting them here for discussion and your own edification.

1993 BMW M5 with COMPLETELY REBUILT ENGINE. I have owned this car since 2005 and have maintained it like I was going to keep it forever, but priorities change and space become limited. . .so its time to pass it on to the right buyer. I have full records since new including complete documentation of the engine rebuild.

The car runs and sounds great. It had a Dinan chip installed by the dealer when new that moves the power to about 350 HP at 6800 RPM, but the numbers don't do the performance justice. The way the powerband is oriented, you can see a spot in traffic and "be there right now."

The front tires are almost new, but the back tires are about half tread. I decided not to replace them since the buyer may want a different type of tire. The clutch is about 35K old and the brakes are pretty new. The 6-disc CD changer works as does everything else except the cruise control. I could go on and on about all the parts that have been replaced, but that's what the records are for. . .but feel free to ask any questions. 182K miles on chassis, 38K on engine.

Reasonable looking M5, 128K miles, no bids at 5K start, though there are 6 days to go..... VIN is 2791415, not in the registry.

Questions at a glance? There is no accident report in the carfox, though the ad states that the front fenders are new. The wheels were blasted and resprayed, though they didn't bother replacing the roundel, at least on the LF. New windshield, though the lockstrip looks to be the old one, shrunken and slightly too short. It looks like it's sitting high for Eibach springs? There are some nice modifications noted for the engine, though documentation would be needed.

Still and all, looks like a decent place to start. It will be interesting to see if it bids up at all.

Red 1987 Alfa Romeo Milano, out on the East End of Long Island. That's the Hamptons - something I didn't appreciate until I moved out here.

2.5 V6 w/ 5sp manual.

Kelly Charger GT tires.
Sony CD player
Interior is black & tan, with cloth seating surfaces.

Looks great inside and out.

The power antenna is stuck in the up position.
A couple of minor dings in some exterior plastic trim.
The rubber gaskets around the outside door handles & such are shot.

Window sign says, "well maintained, all records, always garaged."

$6,900. Maybe you can keep the change on the center console.

1987 528e - $950



I saw this car this weekend and here is some info:

-Car has been sitting for 1 or 1.5 years
-Car wouldn't stay on. It's either the fuel pump or fuel pump relay. It also took a lot of cranking to get it to that point
-Cloth interior with manual front seats
-Inside, it could use some cleaning. The seats had a lot of dust and dirt.
-dash was cracked in a few spots
-lights seemed to work fine
-main air intake hose was broken
-fuse box door broke
-AC was probably dead. There was no belt and it looked really rusty
-small hole in the exhaust before the cat
-tires were new, but they have been sitting for so long, that I would change them
-couldn't get the trunk open. The button was impossible to press
-brakes were new
-back door locks wouldn't come up (tried by hand and using the power locks)
-little bit of rust, but I didn't see anything crazy
-No maintenance records, but he said that the previous owner was a mechanic that worked for BMW (I'd change the timing belt and water pump ASAP)
It's not a bad car, just needs a lot of small things. Owner seemed motivated to sell the car (you can get it for cheaper)

Everything seemed original on the car. The anti-theft radio didn't work because the battery died.

I just want this car to go to someone who would take care of it instead of abuse and scrap it! We need more E28's on the road in Ontario. If I wasn't going away for three months, I would have bought it because it seemed like a good and relatively cheap project car.

This E34 ///M5 which I have test driven as I was considering it as an option for myself at one point has a price adjustment of $6500 FIRM according to the seller. He Emailed me with an update and I told him I would pass it along here with his permission.

Truth be told if someone wanted to drop in a used G265 and just replace the timing chain tensioner you could have a decent (but not perfect) E34 ///M5 driver. Its not the car for me though.

Please note that I have NO AFFILIATION with the car other than having test driven it and my experience is no substitute for a thorough PPI with a compression test.

I'm not an 2002 guy but swap in a 4 or 5-Speed manual and some Recaros and it look like you're good to go on this one...

This is my 1976 BMW 2002ti coupe with the very rare Automatic transmsission and factory sunroof. NADA lists the value of this car as $11,500 in "average" condition and $22,000 in "high" condition, so this price is a steal. Very few of these cars remain in this sort of condition, this is as rust-free as any 2002 you will ever encounter. It is clean, beautiful and it drives very well. The paint and body are very good, and the interior is in very nice condition. The car is reliable, dependable and it needs nothing- you can drive it anywhere. It is ready to be your fun weekend cruiser but could certainly be driven everday. 76,000 miles. Kept in my heated building in Willoughby. No lowballers. This one has been a HUGE debate here in the past. I'm too lazy to search for the thread right now though. In short, it doesn't appear to be a real M535i.
