That has not been my experience when properly prepared, which takes time. I guess I know the right people.
I have had hog that was both. It really all depends on how it was prepared. So Sherman, what did you take the hog with?

For those that know him, PK is alive and well. He was over helping me tear the M5 apart this weekend and we had a lot of fun. Really!
After we finished buttoning things up he gave me a great compliment by taking a couple of pics of the beast. He was discreet in his shot selection because the car had been sitting a while without a bath (and it was at night thank goodness) but if you know how meticulous he is and how pristine his E36 is, you'll understand what a compliment this is.

I can't say that I know him, but I certainly remember him. He and his wife posting back and forth in a pseudo banter and then there was the pixie thing.
Ah, the good old days of Mye28. Glad to hear he's doing well.

Took my 13 year old daughter out to see an experimental aircraft show in good 'ole Burgaw, NC. There was also a car show ( she rolls eyes) and tons of cool acrobatics being performed overhead!
I took a ton of pictures to post and even one of some road kill, but I started barfing once that smell got in my head. That pic may be a bit blurry.
She had a good time but was not thrilled with the road kill part.

I think I'm on to the next foodie sensation. Gourmet oatmeal . The variations are kaleidoscopic. Tasty, fresh and healthy. Easy to make with fresh fruit and juice. Quick to make.
PS, just tried a bowl of oatmeal nuked for 3 minutes in OJ with a peeled orange. Umma- numma

We are in vegas enjoying the holiday. I couldn't help it, I knew there was SOMEONE from the board in vegas, so I made contact and we went to the yard. Easiest way to make friends, evar!
Great to meet you Shane! (Dangerwillrobinson)

Thanks for looking me up, Adam. It was good to meet you too - and seriously man, if you ever need a spot to stay for your Vegas getaways, call me up!
Oh, and thanks again for the tips on the vacuum brake "upgrade"! I just finished reading your article.

Just finished watching Season 2 of The Walking Dead on Netflix. I love that show; can't wait for the next one to be available.

Spent the last 3 nights trying to remove the RHS UCA Ball Joint without success. I've tried everything from pickle forks, to big mofo hammers, to rost off, ball joint pullers.. Nothing gets the job done. Having hit myself in the hand and taking off a fair bit of skin tonight, I rage quit in spectacular fashion (hammer ended up on the other side of the street), and went up to the shops to grab dinner.
Walk in, REM's 'Everybody Hurts' is blasting over the supermarket PA. Fuck you REM, FUCK YOU.

This might help:
I doubt Harbor Freight helps you in finding this but that's where I found it.
And yeah, I've done the bleeding throwing hammer thing.

If there's one convenient to you, Autozone and PepBoys rent those. $0, just need a deposit = to tools cost.

I'm not sure those stores are on his continent.
But those do work well along with the U shaped clamp type. And best of all is one of those with a blow to the top of the joint while it's under pressure.
And I have never thrown a hammer across the street or a field.
A worn out screwdriver or plyers type device, but never a hammer.

Its funny how much attention this is getting all over. Truth be told they'll probably sell off the assets including the Twinkie brand and someone will continue the tradition. I'm not concerned.
P.S. This company has been in financial hot water for a while IIRC. They closed their Columbus Wonder Bread plant a few years back.

Arrived at the park today just as a 10k run had finished. While awards were being handed out, I slid through the crowd of runners and felt all eyes upon me, or maybe it was their noses, as I had just finished off a 1/2 pound of bacon and a 3 cheese omelette before heading out. Truly a feeling I just can't describe.

Like being drunk?
I guess you'll have to ask a glass of water to understand.

WTF? Christmas lights up before Thanksgiving? I know the stores do it right after Halloween but I'd like to see a little more restraint with private citizens. In this case, it's the trust fund hottie on the corner so it's okay but everyone else needs to just chill until after Thanksgiving.

More Amazon madness. I'm mixing and matching things as I'm wont to do, this time it's USB and a female/female gender changer. I can buy it shipped, through Amazon, from friggin' Hong Kong for 50¢. Fifty cents from Hong Kong??? It costs 45¢ for a letter across town, not counting the envelope and they're selling a USB connector, including postage and packaging for 50¢? Of course it will take a few weeks to get here, but damn. I think I'll buy domestic even i fit is more expensive at a whopping $1.26. The three week wait isn't worth it. Now I know it's not actually made here, but the final purchase is domestic and should save close to a month's shipping time.
50¢. Hong Kong. How do they do it?

I stopped at Sam's Club today, and there was a bell ringer out front already.
Next thing you know, they'll be ringing bells all year 'round.

I was going through old prints and I found this picture of my parents' old 1973 Bavaria in the winter. It was probably still running at this point, or at least was recently.
