How about this? Run a time trial to the 4:00 check-in? Closest arrival wins?

Nevermind.

Played with a few countdown apps for android and was disappointed. Live wallpapers would probably burn through batteries fast. And haven't even looked at iPhone matches.

I may have another geeky idea though. We'll see.

I plan on attending with my daughter

Post by nbristow01 »

New to this group but not to older BMWs. I will be coming down in my 1974 BMW 2002. Travis and I have known each other for years. He told me about this event.

Working on booking a room now. Not sure it the Leaky has space. What other place are people staying at

Hey Nick,
Welcome to the MyE28.com world and TexFest LSB&F.
I met you, I think, at the Vintage-Vineyard meet in Marble Falls a few years ago.
It'll be nice to have an "old" car join us.
You might connect with djazz, he's heading down from the DFW too.

I'll add you to Travis' cabin on the list.

Thanks!! If you guys don't mind I think 3 or 4 more of the 2002 guys are really wanting to join you guys. First I want to ask it it is OK and second, if it is, are there other places to stay?

Yes, more "old" cars are welcome.

There are still a few empty beds.
Have them shoot me an email, swatterssr at gmail dot com,
or a text at ate tree too - tree too sicks - nun oh for savin',
and I'll see what I can do to match them up with someone at our host location.

Yes, there are other places to stay.

Hey Nick,

We're planning on avoiding the Interstates, leaving the metroplex through either Cleburne or Benbrook, and stopping in Brownwood for lunch, then continuing south from there.

Shaggy (son's nickname) was planning on it but school is all consuming right now. And we were gonna leave Scooby at home anyway.

Sherman,

Any idea where a rather large "support" vehicle and trailer might be able to park? Probably with some northerners it? I think the stars are starting to align for us to make it down for our first TexFest this year. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We don't need hook-ups, but if there is somewhere close that might have them, we would be much obliged.
