bought a manual 850i so i didt do much with the e28

bumpsteer spacers och e31 controlarms

and new rubbet boots

the nwe hole thru the firewall

now some new powersteeringhoses left and thinkin what to use for new steering shaft rubber boot

some updates

bought a 370mm refurbished Mtech1 steering wheel

need a longer stab links so e28 links is 240mm

went and bought e39 v8 series 285mm links

maybe need longer links or change the rubber boot into more slim version

steering rack on a e28 = success!!
the car feels like new!
all the work was really wort it, now just a aligment left then test on the highway

Understandable :laugh: that is a dream car for me to drive one day.

Great work though. I love the look of the grille with that extra chrome line, especially together with the Alpina bumper.

actually its not a alpina bumper its a Pfeba =)

I can't really tell by the video but how is the bump steer? Does the wheel turn back to center without your guidance?

i have no bumpsteer, because i have coilovers and doesnt have to much suspension travel
it turns almost by itself, not like it was with steeringbox

Agree. Had this steering rack page up for ages. But never came around to saving the images. Now that I finaly have the time the Photocrapper strikes :evil:
