Bump!

I'm interested in getting these for my car, but am a little concerned about their durability (although I probably shouldn't be). My E28 does mostly rally-x, which is incredibly abusive to the suspension, and I want to make sure these will hold up to strong impacts and lots of dirt/mud. Can anyone comment on their longevity? It seems like they've been out for a few years now.

I've had my set installed for more than a year now with heavy track use (probably 10k street miles, 5k track miles). They've held up great, and show no signs of degradation or even wear.

I've got 60k miles on the set on my E34. No complaints.

The only issue I had was that early seals weren't up to water entry....

I recently rebuilt mine with Paul's new seals (though it seemed to take him a while to get them out the door...) and they looked very good. Used Lubromoly grease, and they work great. Races can be put in by hand now, but I don't think they move around once everything is adjusted. I also think that a protective layer of grease smeared over the exposed metal surfaces will help with corrosion. On mine, the threaded disc was pretty well seized at the first overhaul, and it took some doing to get them apart,

But overall, it's a quality product and I love the way the car tracks and handles with them installed.
