AnthonyBFX should not be trusted.

He was VERY quick to respond with emails before I sent the payment (for a radiator) and after receiving it vanished.

I've already started the legal work to make him pay for it but just thought others should be warned.

Sorry for your trouble, but zero post should've been your first clue.

I got an 3.07LSD from cooperman last fall. Packed well and shipped quickly. Thanks to winter downtime, diff is now installed and runs smooth and quiet. Thanks Micah, the 3.07 is the partner my CR gearbox was meant to have from the factory.

Dispute with cdova

Post by Isaac »

I wish I had a better way to resolve this but I am at my wit's end. I bought an ECU from cdova through this forum for $90. The ECU is bad. With it installed, my car will idle slow and rough but dies when given gas. I eventually bought a different ECU from Bimmerguy2002 for $55. My car runs like a champ. (Thank you Bimmerguy2002!)
I sent cdova a pm. He responded that he would refund my money if I sent him back the ECU. Great. I have now pm'd him 4 times requesting an address for me to ship to. I have also emailed his personal email. I get no response.
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Extended vacation?
I am hoping this helps elicit a response.

I bought a rear window shade/rear deck cover from Boby (Toms Kalme). It arrived from Latvia in less than two weeks, it was very well packed and in very good condition. He is very trustworthy and a good connection for euro parts.

Euro parts

Post by 1121fresh »

I just wanted to recognize member boby. For euro parts I'd say excellent service. Great prices, and great parts. Works with you the whole time and discloses everything good, or bad. Recently bought mint dash, euro turns, and refurbished euro lights. I couldn't be happier.

Early this week I bought a brake booster and pressure accumulator from Sean Cassidy. He sent the parts on the same day I paypal'd the money, and they arrived in 2 days. Nice parts at a fine price and a very good guy to deal with.

Ron Lester is not a good buyer. Not sure about his name on mye28.com. He is from the Dayton, Ohio area. He said he was going to stop by and take a look at some body panels, told him I could cut them tomorrow. He decided to blow me off and not bother calling to let me know that he was stopping by. So beware of selling if you have to depend on him standing by his word.

I made the mistake of purchasing two Leather Shift Knobs from ALGA - Alan Gun Leather Accessories.

I called him one month after ordering and he said they had been misplaced and he would call me right back.
Since then I have called him once a week for the past two months and he never answers. 10 emails and no response.

I made the mistake of paying via PayPal which will not let me dispute the charges after 45 days.

$89 flushed down the toilet

Alan Gun should be avoided at all costs

UPDATE:

6 Months after Payment I finally received the knobs. They are both crudely made and have issues where the emblem mounts. Also they do not have the clip that allows you to mount them on the shift shaft. He told me to glue them in place. WTF ?
