No more Bridge...

Hey I used to work at Hot Shoe Racing there at the Bridge up until Feb '97. (Moved to the west coast.) A couple of years ago when my wife and I were visiting, we all (my parents and my wife and I) went in to see how the golf course was shaping up there (gggrrrrrrrrrrr). The track from pit out to either turn 4 or 5 - I can't remember - is still there. You get in at the turn 4 gate where big trucks used to get in. Then you drive "backwards" up the hill to just beyond pit out and there's a bunch of temporary office trailers. You can see some of the fairways (gggggrrrrrrrrr). Anyway, we turned around and started to leave and as we approached the bridge (still there! yay!), my dad (in his new 3 series) looked at me in the rear view mirror with a smile on his face - my mom also in the front saw what was going on and said "Alan, don't you do it!" Of course, he did it. My mom screamed "AAAAALLLLAAAANNNN down the hill, my wife and I were whoopin and hollerin in the back, my dad was laughing in the front, and my mom finally let out a laugh and a smile after we rounded the bottom turn. AAAaahhhh, that was fun. Our last blast at the Bridge. I wonder how many other people have done that.

TeamDFL was born around the same time as I gained experience autocrossing. Things went rapidly downhill from there as I started ripping stuff out and and welding stuff in.

OK here we go (all car names courtesy of my significant other). Interestingly she has never had the desire to name any other vehicles we have ever owned including her own cars ('88 Dodge Omni, '93 Saturn SL2, '04 Saturn L300... gee I wonder why?
).

Left to Right ("The Green Machine", Me, "The Garage Queen")
(And the reason I'm here: "Der Panzer")

The M-tech with me and the lady in it
My drive way last year during a couple of engine swaps.
We have a e30, Audi a4, Infiniti M30, Toyora pickup, VW GTI, VW cabrio, NIssan 300zx, Dodge Challenger and in the street there is a Toyota 4runner, Toyota Camry, Toyota Supra in the garage, and I think there might've been another car in the backyard.

This thread was a great idea! I'm totally new to this board and 5ers in general, but I've registered for the Fest since it's so close.
I just bought the M5 about a month ago and don't have any shots of myself with the car, but here's one from a race down in Memphis back in March...
Note t-shirt! 8)
And one of the car in the office parking lot the other day:
See you guys there!

Hmm, just saw this thread now, thought I better contribute.
Me, in front of my 323i, and 1600. I'm on the right, with the shop coat, and the greasy hair! That's Go4Carter on the left.
Me at my absolute finest!
Glasses were borrowed, mac jacket is winter gear in the shop, greay hair and beard is a result of fixing cars all day long.
Me at my ACTUAL finest. Pic taken at Bay Area 02 Swap n Show, May 06
Oh, and of course my E28.
