I threw some more shit inside the E12 because my wife said I was replacing the interior anyway and should'nt worry about rips and tears.
She has selective hearing .but I was looking at her boobs the whole time so I only heard the important things.

Replaced the front bumper cap on Pepper, the daughter's '95 Civic Coupe. Looks much better than the one her younger brother (name's Dirt) broke up by hitting a snowbank with it last winter. While the front end was in the air I changed the oil & tracked down the persistent and worsening oil leak; oil pressure sender. Shoulda knowed.
Then I washed the car; hadn't been washed since the last time I washed it. The girl has got to learn to take care of her tools.

I cleaned the protective layer of dirt and bird shit off of the Honda. Now the paint is completely exposed to the elements.

Friends e30: Figured out the starter need to be hooked up to get the windows to go up. Also moved it from in front of the barn.
Then got in my e30 and....
-Trolled the shit out of downtown Staunton. Too bad school is out though, no Mary Baldwin chicks around.
-Washed it at the top of the parking garage where someone left a hose running.
-Drove around and around a bunch of Morgans, squealing tires and making a general ruckus.
-Then got home and tried to take the steering wheel off (non-airbag on an airbag car) and realized I fucked it up and now it's STUCK on there hardcore. FML.

Had an e34 day on Sunday. It needed a new tensioner and aux fan.
I pussed out on pulling the trim off the bumper. It felt like it was gonna break, so I went in from the rear. ( yeah, I said it...lol)
It was a PITA to get the aux fan changed that way.
Next time, I'll just break the frigging trim if need be.
A/C is lots happier and quieter now.
Yay

Mostly an e46 weekend - first I swapped the rear outer upper and lower control arm bushings, in searching for a toonk that was happening with lateral movement. I had already swapped swaybar endlinks and the big trailing arm bushings. The other new bushings in the trailing arm also did not eradicate my noise.
Sunday I prepared to drop the diff and swap those mounts, as well as the LCAs. First thing out is the sway bar and "Holy Shit" the bushings on that UUC bar look like crap. So I bolted the original rear bar back on, and the noise is gone. Sway bar had been my first guess at the source of the noise, and obviously I should have pursued that line further than just the end-links. I now have a lot of new bushings, and a lot of spare parts, and some press tools I should really rent to try to recoup some cost.
But the car feels great!!
ALSO, swapped 3 qts of oil and 3 gallons of hydro fluid on the John Deere for its 50-hour break-in service. Splashy!

I changed the oil in the E90. That took and hour and a half from the time I started to the time I climbed out of the shower. Too much time was spent trying to reset the oil light but I figured it out. Again. 1 year and 3500 miles on 5w-40 synthetic. Geez I don't drive enough...
EDIT: I do miss having a dipstick but the electronic system works.

Desperately trying to get my 6er ready for 5erfest. I've got a bunch of parts in the mail right now, tires showed up last night. Between today and yesterday I took the intake manifold off, changed the starter to a B35 piece, slapped on new manifold gaskets, drained the oil, coolant and I'm ready to flush the one, refill the other and put the intake back on. I'm anticipating working on it from dawn till dusk this weekend. I've got E34 rotors, pads and SS lines in the mail right now, and the calipers in my garage waiting for me to put new seals in. Now all I really need to do is put the interior back together somewhat, install the brakes, and get the tires mounted. Will 225/50/16's rub on et22 16X8 wheels?
On the bright side I'm getting an SA2010 helmet in the mail.

I washed Bella, washed the wheels, changed the air filter (Why Torx BMW, why?), then swapped out the summer tires for the snow tires.
Looking forward to some Vintage and RTT planning for next year... gimme something to look forward to!

The touring's been getting all the attention lately: foglights, dashlights, rear wiper. Roofrack, obc bulbs, euro bumper trim, steering wheel, other little pieces here and there.
Rounded up a set of m systems/turbines, and my staggered Alpinas finally got here (only been what, 6-8 months). Both sets need work, it's a good thing the PO just put new tires on the car before I bought it
Next is suspension refresh and maybe Dr Vanos.
One of these days I'll fix the passenger doors.
