Thrilled that it arrived safely. I used shipnex as the broker. Placed the transmission on a rectangle of plywood, strapped it with tie downs and slipped it in a couple of nested Home Depot heavy duty boxes. As a result of this transaction I learned how to ship a transmission.

Measure the diameter with calipers. You can have these caps. One little problem is I only have 3. BimmerSultan has the 4th cap floating around somewhere in his garage! Tim… have ya found it yet???

Havent had a chance to get out there and measure them, but I have read they are 55mm caps.
