I got the passenger side front suspension rebuilt. I replaced the strut cartridge, thrust and control arms, and tie rod ends. Hopefully, tomorrow I'll get the other side done! I'm putting Bilstein HDs in. Next, I'll work on the rear, replacing the shocks and a lot of bushings! I think the rear is going to be much more work than the front.

That's right, I put the car on the road and drove it to and from V@V in NC with no working temp gauge. Not recommended and not good for your nerves.

Excepting it was a M5 and not a head you can pick up for a C note, as long as the low coolant level light is working you're not really in too much danger.

Changed the oil, lowered the rear 2 clicks on the B-Sports and replaced the coolant overflow with a shiny new one! Now I'm ready for the St. Paddy's day meet in SD!

Today I installed a new stereo and resided the whole car for sound. The deck is a Pioneer DEH-P5200HD. I'm using the full accompaniment of premium speakers and it sounds pretty darned good. I just need to get the subwoofer up and running to have it 100% complete.

Parked a cherry E23 behind it!

Just setup plans, when I get back to the states, to get new arms and modified spindles on my car along with customized coilovers.

Steering angle will NOT be a problem!

Finished the E32 brake conversion / E32 brake master cylinder / o-ring replacement on the hydraulic brake booster. Replaced the clutch hydraulics, too since the clutch master was leaking. Bled them for the 3rd time and finally test drove it last night not knowing for certain that I was done bleeding them. After a couple of runs around the block, took it down the freeway - brakes felt great

Replaced the grills and headlights with ones from my parts stash. Still need to get after the front bumper and panel under the bumper. Have a ways to go with everything that's wrong with this car.

Took it for a drive on the highway it drives like a champ for an eta M20, but all of a sudden in the rain the wipers stopped working Grrrrrrr.....oh well 3 years of ownership and this is the first time I've had issues with this. Not bad not bad at all! @ Tulsa6 is that an is? I see that your side mirrors are painted...

I had that problem and it was a wiper relay. Previous owner cracked it during removal. Was an easy fix.

I replaced my right rear side marker bulb and cleaned the interior.

Installed the Pfeba deck lid, detailed the shit out of it and cleaned/conditioned the leather. What a difference! Seats look awesome now!

It's a 528i, the (original) grills and mirrors were painted at some point, probably when the passenger side quarter panel was replaced. It has sport seats and I haven't got around to finding out what the differential is. I've been told it originally had a close ratio 5 speed by a couple different people, but currently has a OD. I don't think there was a 528is, though.

Relished in my new front end alignment so that I can enjoy my completely new front end pieces(now for the rear....yes homo)

I just ordered a bunch of spares from Brian. And a spare main relay and fuel pump relay. And floor mats. And a bunch of other nickel and dime stuff for both BMWs.

Should I have a spare fuel pump on hand for the drive to The Vintage? Just seems like an expensive part to have laying around. I have no idea if I still have the original on the car.

Worked for me...

Changed spark plugs and wires. Man, what a difference. Runs like a champ now. Also, got new front bumper trim (thanks brutus87!)

Going to probably install the new Boston Acoustics 6x9's in the rear tomorrow and my DHD amp for my 12" Jl sub. W00t!

Saturday- changed every piece of rubber on suspension, Sunday tbelt water pump, hoses, adjusted valves, full tune, gave her a good bath, then looked through 13 years of service history

Drove the poo poo out of it as the e46 is down without headers.

Still running cold, I just keep forgetting to post temps.

Drilled the Euro valance to accept the M5 chin spoiler.

Watched it get rained on .

Took the 533 off insurance. Till I either fix the sunroof drains, or chop the top off...

Closest I've come to doing anything to the e28, since getting the headers on the e46, is getting on here.

I shopped for "my" E28 today.
I failed but then again, the car I'm looking for has a Unicorn hood ornament, full maintenance records and a 400 horsepower engine, freshly built. The Cardinal interior simply compliments the original glossy Lachsilber paint and the style 5's.

Been thinking about what to do about thinning down the herd.
