hey @cek - if you aren't planning to fab more of these, would you be open to the idea of sharing the fabrication file you used to make them?

No.

The M30B34 intake manifold is supported by two struts that bolt to the valve cover and a small bracket between the block and the bottom of the manifold.

The M30B35 does not have those ugly struts above and is instead supported by a beefy aluminum bracket connected to the engine mount.

The shape of the E28 engine mount prevents the aluminum M30B35 bracket from fitting. The HGL E28 M30B35 Intake Manifold Bracket is a simple, robust, solution to this problem.

If you don't have an M30B35 swap, you don't need one of these.

WOOOOHOOOO - great news! I already have the HGL blade fuse kit and it is a thing of beauty. I'll be signing up for the bracket, do keep us posted!

The new supplier provides powder coating (the old one didn't, so I had it done separately). To ensure they get the bends right we need to order a prototype.

I should have it next week...



On the last run, I lost money because I didn't factor in prototypes and coatings; this time around we need to make a bit of profit so they'll be pricier. Not sure exactly how much yet, but hopefully under fifty bucks each.

Count me in for the next run.

Travel (to Argentina because I predicted they'd win the World Cup) meant I couldn't get the prototype until today.
