Drilled out the sheared off bolt to my water pump. Now thats all sorted.
Took off the standard oil filter housing and mounted the unit that has the cooler lines.
Secured my replacement radiator.
Finished the orders for all the parts needed for my turbo build.
Everything is now either here or on the way.
I hope to have the new and improved "grey ghost" running in about two weeks.

Worked on a B7 Alpina today.

Eric came over to look at the B7, and I decided to pull out the auxiliary fuel tank (which you have to do to get the in-tank pump out). I guess the concept of captive nuts was foreign to even Alpina. In-tank pump and sender are super nasty-looking and the tank is full of icky, putrid fuel. Blech. I'll siphon the fuel out of the tank, pull it out and go have the pair boiled out.

You know this car requires a 'build thread' right? Can't wait to follow it

Fixed my odometer that broke about 10 miles after I adjusted my valves. Can I get a week w/o having to work on something?!

now that I have a proper tool kit I tightened my interior pieces that had vibrated loose... no more catching my foot on the dash when moving from gas to brake!
also began hollowing out the converter. During this I found it had rusted through in a couple places allowing my friend to weld up the leaks. Sealed it all with muffler cement to fill the pin holes.
what a pain, my jack didn't go high enough and my friends just barely did to allow me to squeeze under the car enough to use the air tools. Man oh man did an air hammer ever make short work of that catalyst.

I finally decided to look at where fuel tank tubes and stuff to see if I could see where the leak was coming from. I think I found the reason my car was only getting about 150 miles per tank. One of the tubes that was leaking and gas would squirt out of it. Ordered a new one so I should be good. Also, got a 3.25 LSD from a E32 from the yards, cleaned it up, new oil, and its in the car. Can't wait to drive it.

A few months ago, I had a leaky fuel line, it would drip right onto the exhaust pipe

Drove him home from West Virginia. Had a nice uneventful scenic drive home.

Replaced a cracked vent hose. No more work on the car, or I swear I'm taking public transit this Summer.

Sent the piggy off to the tip, after removing the pedal box and clutch master. Have to helicoil the oil drain on my bronzit, as the fucking thing is stripped and it dumped it's load all over the garage floor during the night. I do have a replacement oil pan that I need to put on it at some stage, but I really cannot be bothered just yet. S'bout it.

Changed front hubs in 1 hour.
Then changed front shifter console mounts in 2.5 hours.
Front hubs make a difference, shifter bushing just got me really dirty.

Replaced a high beam lamp, fog light bulb, straightened the front spoiler, and smogged her. Passed so well I couldn't believe it
Now if someone could just find me a supplier for exhaust donuts that don't rip in a thousand miles...

This isn't common? Both of my cars' work.

Bought it a shiny new adapter board and hardware kit for megasquirt. Motronic feels like it's sick and dying, I could diagnose it or I could just take the plunge (again)
Now I just need to track down a GM coil pack in the junkyard and wire them up.

Mine doesn't.
Of course, my whole car doesn't really work at the moment...

Looked at it, the ///M, and smiled while dragging in the E12 from Bland, VA., via Fontana Dam Village, at 2:30 this morning.
