We had the windows open at dinner today, and the birds outside were going to town with their singing. My forever random youngest son pipes up and says, "Have you ever imagined that the bird songs you hear outside are really the sound of laser blasts? Like the birds are having having laser battles." I had to laugh because it totally sounds like that.

Black Capped Chickadee:

House Wren:

I think he's on to something.

Around my place .it is a symphony tuning up as the sun rises. I border a conservation area of 1200 acres of fresh water marsh. Birders have counted over a 100 species back there . When the trees and bushes are in fruit I have them. I have house wrens in my shop and nests in the cedar trees . Geese honk as they commute over head. Herons gronk . There is a tribe of crows living in a locust tree in the front yard. They announce my presence to their domain when I walk out the door I have wood peckers, finches. robins. jays, cat birds, and these are just the song birds. Raptors of all sorts soar overhead.

Take those shirts downtown. Find the grubbiest homeless dudes you can and hand them out. Smile when you see them around town panhandling or sleeping on a park bench.

I had one boss that used to call up the fleet manager and ask him how fast he was going just to wind him up.
He'd usually be doing about 85 in a Prius when we would do that. I haven't seen the device, but I suspect it's similar to what you're looking at.

Ours tracks EVERYTHING. The OBC even transmits to CA DMV when a check engine light goes on. As long as it's fixed within 10 days, the whole fleet is exempt from Biannual smog tests.

Last nights hot wings & Yuengling combined with an overzealous dose of Metamucil bumped heads in my belly this morning resulting in a mad dash for the dense foliage. I looked up mid-squat to see the most beautiful magnolia flower ever. If you've never wiped your ass with a magnolia flower, I highly recommend you should.

My bank sent me an email inquiring about purchases this morning totaling a couple thou while vacationing in the United Arab Emirates. I think it would be cool to visit Dubai, but I'm glad they stopped all the fun.
All purchases were held or blocked, then denied and card cancelled once I talked to them. It was my debit card so I get to shuffle the bills around too.
This is a pita but it could be much much worse.

Looks more like a person on a leash being walked by a dinosaur! I like it!!
Also, it turns out that computer components need a steady and reliable source of power to operate properly. Who knew??
