Adjusted the valves on the M30 - .009 from the cam lobe. Installed a new reference sensor, BMW fuel line check valve, new rotor, fuel pump relay. Cleaned ICV. Replaced some old splice wiring on the the CTS. Put in new hood shocks.
Then I looked across the driveway at my beater 528e, shook my head and went inside..

It's been a pretty busy couple of weeks and will continue leading up to 5erWest:
This is how you'll find the M535 pretty much every weekend:
Last weekend:
Finally finished restoring the stock Air Box as well as fixed a few body kit issues:
This weekend:
Replaced the Blower Fan (thanks to Mike in Seattle for the replacement).
Replaced the Fuel Injectors with Type III reman'd units:
Only to have to likely remove them to fix some sort of idle/fuel rich problem
During the weeknights, I've been working on prepping for the Audio System upgrade. Here's the new amp being fitted onto its' new mounting board:

Learned how much I fucking hate hard brake lines. Up to, and including flaring, fittings, master cylinders, everyfuckingthing.
....and I think it's probably gonna leak like a siv and I'll be doing it all over again.
Also, I hate mosquitoes. If I was god I'd wipe them from the earth.

I drove it for the last time today. It's parked in a rather inconvenient spot, immobilized by the clutch master cylinder. I guess it's a sign.

Why? Is your car bare, rusty metal?

Other than the swiss-cheese rear valance (winter project) the Chrome/Euro bumper conversion is done. Details, details....
Chrome door trims - check
Trim on the valance next to the fogs - check (only one screw?)
City lights wired up - check
Outer lights wired for lows/highs - check
New M5 Grille badge - check (mine sucked)
Still have to put the new wheelwell trims into the front. The old ones sucked, and it's dirty in that cavity. I'll clean that up this weekend, and get some fresh 'Complete' pictures.

Donno yet. I didn't have any brake fluid, and now I'm dealing with a faulty speedometer in the e30. Ugh....it never ends. On top of that, I have to get the e46's cooling system redone....

I only used primer on the hood and it was spray bomb primer at that.
one coat of Sea Green marine polyurethane applied with a 6" high density foam roller. No sanding or polishing or waxing.

Mad a sub box out of an old suitcase. Added a center muffler to quiet'n things down a little, and discovered there's a large oil leak from either the rear main, or the back of the head gasket/head somewhere. Will worry about that in the morning..

Re-Tightened the headbolts to spec post rebuild. Also replaced the pressure sender seal, as it was pissing out oil everywhere. Installed LED interior lights, and gave it a good thrashing. Next on the list is tyres for the Hartge's, and then roadworthy.

3 pedal mod, blew some minds at my local BMW fixit shop. Too bad she still looks like a wreck. One step at a time I guess..
