Why CB and not FRS? I have a CB, but it's at least as old as I am. Perhaps it's time I invest in a hand-held.

I have a handheld, and it wasn't great at distance.
We'll be bringing our FRSs also.

Looking forward to meeting new people! Ali, Rodney, just to name a few. Also look forward to seeing old faces! We should be getting there around 2 ish, hopefully sooner. This weekend and week are going to be biiiizzzzzzyyyyy.

-finish shadowline (laziness and weather have been factors in my non completion)
-rip the seats out and give the ol girl a good cleanup inside.
-top off fluids and ensure air in the spare.
-mount m5 airdam on roofrack.

PLEASE do not call the hotel to cancel your reservations if you can't make it, call ME. I will work it out so that when you call the clerk will know to assign your room to me. Again, $25 just to work with me to get your reservation if you can't make it.
You might consider contacting Scott at Shaffner house across the street. He had a room or two available.

It appears that Skip helped Brian and Christy save their Vintage BMW Vacation. Perhaps we can return the favor by visiting Skips restaurant Magnolia Foods.

Lets try to do another E28 ///M5 caravan into the main event on Saturday morning. How many ///M's can we get in a row? Stay tuned here for a time. Or if someone else is spearheading this let me know.

Alright, we're less than a week out. List your spare parts that you're bringing. It might be nice to know who has what. Not really for sale, but only if needed in a pinch.

For the ///M5 I've got:

Relays, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, fuses, pulse generator, diff flange gaskets, and a timing tensioner for an S54.

I'm only going to have a minor bag of tools including a multimeter and ratchets of the 1/2" variety. I'm still on the fence on torque wrenches. Screwdrivers.

EDIT: Also, I'm not shooting professionally this weekend, but will have a camera with me. If anyone wants a wide angle interior shot(s) I'm happy to oblige. I'll have a 12-24mm Tokina with me.

Okay, my deciding factor will go as follows:

If my over pants show up and fit me better than the last set I had, I will ride. If not, I will drive the 528.

Looks like the weather is going to be decent between the days I will be out, so I believe I will be up for it. I have states to fill in on my map, and I intend to fill them this year.

Spent most of the day yesterday helping Vance get his car ready for the trip. On the 100 mile drive home, my diff started whining like a banshee. :( Fingers crossed that I can find something to replace it with for the trip.

You don't know what a banshee sounds like! No excuses! Get it done!

It sounded just like Vance whining yesterday while I was changing his oil filter housing gasket.

Working in the Big Apple this week and the week of Mem day, and just couldn't swing flying home, driving up, then back, then flying back to NYC. Especially since I have no AC in either car as of late, and that I still need to get the new brakes on the 535. But all of this is supposed to be fixed this week. Nonetheles, I'm already having withdrawals.

Be safe and have a blast up there. Look forward to seeing some pictures!

Good news. I have the 750 LCA's on. I'm giving up on the Moosehead UCAB's for the time being, but I found a new set of sway bar links that are halfway attached. 540i brakes are happening as we speak. I should finish the fronts tonight.

The rears brakes will happen tomorrow, the old diff with the working speedo sensor will go back in, and I'll give the tranny new fluid. Should happen in no time.
