Hey guys, I'm in Littleton and am considering buying an e28. Who wants to get together for beers soon?
Cheers,
Pat

There's a couple members here that live in the Mpls/St. Paul area. I think there's local meetup 1st Saturday of the month for euro cars that they attend as well.

If all works out okay, I'll be a new owner of an 88 535is. Silver on black. Im so excited I can't even do work at the office anymore! I'm from Los Angeles and would love to caravan up with the rest of the e28s out to Bfest if possible. Or just meet up with a few one night for some coffee and cigs...

awesome, i hope you get it figured out. I got my first 535is in 1995 and loved every minute of driving it. Keep it cool, get the cooling system checked and use water wetter, low temp thermostat, new fan clutch, proper shroud, correct spark plugs. save up for a new distributor cap(lol) hope you enjoy it. first E28?

That basically sums up all the priorities that I will address off the bat. It's not so much to look at since the paint is faded but it sits nicely, the interior is crack and rip free and everything with the car works. I will hoever get the car painted at some point but I have to save some $$ for that.

Happy for you brother. I still remember the shocked look on a mini cooper s driver's face as I Kept him on my fender during a little "traffic dance" in Philly. I agree with you to make sure it is sorted mechanically before you head to the paint booth. Don't get suckered by some fly by night exhaust shop either, the factory exhaust actually flows pretty well, trying to create a less expensive aftermarket exhaust often times makes less power. Tough to find performance exhausts that don't break the bank.

interested to know if anyone on here will bolt in together for the bimmerfest? I'm bringing my E39 M5 but if there's a group of E28s rolling up, I can bring the tank instead.
