Tucked the front bumper, and got bumper shock fluid all up in my face. Thank god for goggles and facemasks. That stuff is nasty.

Added rear headrests from Kohler
Chris hooked me up with brackets and headrests.
Thought I'd post pics of the brackets in the trunk for anyone who might be curious.

Changed all the coolant hoses and spark plugs while suffering through a major hangover.
Had to get out of the house as the wife wasn't as pleased as I was at the chick's phone number I got at the club last night.

Well with the lovely weather we've been having my daily (01 jetta )decided not to start ...tried the E28 which is stored in the driveway and it popped right off so off to work i went .The near bald summer tires made for some fun driving

Took it for a drive last night & topped off the tank for my son; 10 gallons is a bit harder to take for him working 10 hours a week at minimum wage. Of course, a quick trip to the gas station turned into a bit more; forgot my wallet at home. Drove back & was reminded that the passenger side headlight was out and he hadn't installed the replacement he had bought, so I took a few minutes to do that. Few minutes; right. One of the plastic screws in the plastic clips holding the grill in place was seized(?), the phillips head rounded, and refused to come out. Messed with it for way too long. It was about 0°F outside (a little warmer in the garage) so was in a hurry to get things buttoned up & discovered that my quick and dirty headlight adjustment was way, way off. Oh well; it's only pointing too low, and the car is legal again, so it can wait until things warm up again.
But driving it on a few errands was nice. I still prefer the way that car drives over my e32. It was pulling to the left a little though; that might have to wait for slightly warmer weather too.

Since the intensive wash tanks are relatively cheap I decided to use a nice new white one (thanks Mike). Since the tank was new I had to have a new cap. Since the tank and cap were new, I had to go with new pumps (which were only $8.00 for Meyle). I think I have everything ready for the install. Only took about twelve years.

Adjusted the e-brake.
Installed a fresh ICV.
Installed a US cluster as the speedo in my other clusted was a euro unit and the odo was off by 10%.
Installed an output flange on the dogleg of Fido's euro 535i.

Snob;
Replaced a nail in the right front tire with a plug.
Drove it to Shell and filled it with 87 in preparation for tomorrows' travels.
