List of people not worth your time to advise.

Parkinen
With roughly half his posts now about iridium plugs, having been told by a number both through experience and a full technical explanation, he still wants to use some funky new spark plugs. You know what? Please, do so.

That took a lot. I never thought I'd see Mike make an addition to this thread.

Maybe Brickwhite could learn from this.Mike W. wrote: Mye28 rule #1, if you're new or have just a few posts, don't escalate a dispute, the locals will drive it into the ground. Breathe deep, step away from the keyboard and come back in a week or two. It's a good group, but not above piling on.

No I'm back again to just piss you off. Too bad you can't hold a decent conversation, but when you get out of high school, get back to us.Greg E34 wrote:Sounds like a win / win.strupgolf wrote:Thanks to all of you. I need advice from you guys like I need more cancer.

I'd be willing to bet Greg is substantially smarter than you.

Jeez; did you really come back after a month away to dig up where your name was brought up in this thread and make juvenile insults?strupgolf wrote:No I'm back again to just piss you off. I'm a noob. New to the board. I have a ton of questions. Is this the right thread to highjack to start asking?
Re: List of people not worth your time to advise.
No. Not unless you want your name added to it.
Re: List of people not worth your time to advise.
I just searched this thread for my username. Thankfully it wasn't there. I don't expect to be so lucky next time.

I read every single page of this thread and I must say it was PRICELESS!
As a noob in this, and to be honest in boards in general, this should be a must read to all of us new members... But then I think, NO, it only takes common sense to NOT get your self in this list... I guess the only reason to make it a must read for new memebers IMO would be to weed out the radical ones... Based on what I've read they are quick to self nominate them selves...

Re: List of people not worth your time to advise.
This thread reminds me of the old witch hunt days. I miss those days.

I can honestly say that after thousands of transactions (literally) my personal list is less then 10 people long. Two oldies but goodies were that dude in Kansas. Maybe "Ron in KC" or something like that and a guy with a name like "junkyard something". The second guy claimed he could make anything from junkyard parts for pennies and we were all stupid. sorry I can't remember the user names. they have not been around for a really long time.
Re: List of people not worth your time to advise.
Yeah, KC Ron was more than confident about his knowledge when he shouldn't have been. Lets see, who else. Knowitall with a funny caps orientation, who clearly did not know even what he claimed, let alone everything. M635csi would argue the laws of physics didn't apply to E28s. There's been a few.T_C_D wrote:I can honestly say that after thousands of transactions (literally) my personal list is less then 10 people long. Two oldies but goodies were that dude in Kansas. Yeah, I've met a few in person who were ok, but their on line persona was something else.T_C_D wrote:I met him recently and he is a really nice guy.Mike W. wrote: M635csi would argue the laws of physics didn't apply to E28s.
Re: List of people not worth your time to advise.
Often when I ask one of my stoopid questions and don't get any replies to the posts, i'll get a email direct from M635csi offering a tip or suggestion. He's been mostly spot on. It's a bummer he feels he cant contribute publicly, but I'm personally glad he still lurks. I wasn't around for whenever/whatever the kurfuffle was.T_C_D wrote:I met him recently and he is a really nice guy.Mike W. wrote: M635csi would argue the laws of physics didn't apply to E28s.
