Ok, any and all E28 ///M5 or tuner (Dinan, Alpina, Hartge) E28 participants lets meet in the southeast corner of The Hawthorne's parking lot with a departure time of 9:15am and we can all march in together. Heck any E28s at all that would like to join are welcome.

Hey, I have an important question. How far is the Hawthorne from the actual show grounds?

If it's anything like the PVGP distances, I might as well keep the bike home and bring the e28...

I have until the 22nd to make up my mind to register the 528 and i'm flip flopping worse than John Kerry.

F#*k!

If I can do 110 the whole way. Would be a breeze in my Z, but I'm not even convinced my eta will do that.

Yes, I don't have time to take the control arms off, take them to work, and press out the rubber bushings. They're going to happen, but not when I have the constraint of a deadline. I would have liked to get to them last week, but I got lazy till today.

Ahh, OK. So long as it isn't a problem with the parts.

Yeah man, what the heck. I've been busting it hard to get those Mtech springs/shocks on so you could see them at the show. Actually, not really giving you a guilt trip, but I was hoping to see you there...

I have the original black hard rubber spoiler off my 533i that I want to get rid of. It is not in really great shape but it is free if anyone is coming to Vintage and wants it for their car. Let me know ahead of time and I will bring it.

Well the weather looks good in Winston-Salem save for the PM T-Storms on Thursday. I had the worst weather on my drive down last year and the older style headlights didn't help much. I was actually really freaked out. I'm hoping to not have to go through that again this year. But doing the drive much earlier in the day should help. Start putting those cars back together boys, its almost time.

Thanks guys! I got it worked out. I am driving down early on Saturday and will be staying next door at the Brookstown.

See you buttheads at the show. Somebody please save me a slot on the Old Salem Strausse to park the M5 or I will be parking with the spectators.

There's always those rogue storms but spring showers have washed away all the pollen here and about. I see clear sailing for the show. Same as it ever was. . .

I hope you're right, because I'm preparing to two-wheel it.

I figure either way I go, I'm going to bitch after I get there. It's either going to be:

"Damnit, I should have brought the bike. That wasn't so bad."

Or

"Damnit wtf was I thinking? Now I have to get home on this bike."

I dont even know anymore. I just don't care. After the mysterious disappearance of the title for my 65 beetle project, I just popped a fuse. I need to get away.

My to do list is rather panicked.

Finish the rear brakes
Replace tranny and engine oil
Optional: put differential back on
Pack all sorts of I'm not even sure what.
