One of my favorite cars on this site. Very unique and just simply awesome. Very inspiring I must say. Atleast for me.

Which color

Post by Tobias.steiner »

Hi Bent,

Nice paintjob, I like it a lot and I just would like to paint my e28 new. I know that it is opal green, but do you also know the color code?

You also wrote that you offer some images from the installation of the e34 seats. Where I can find them?

Thank you very much

Best Regards

Tobias

Paint code is Bmw 171 It is available in two tones, a bright and some darker type. I have the bright one.

Look at the link below. Have replaced the bolt to the seat with one that has a flat head. When it comes to the seat back, so can I explain it in that you have a seat that you post pictures of. On how it is cut and fitted. Do also remember that you need the same type of door cover that I have, (If you going to install rear seat) and it must be made new parcel shelf. :)

Hi Bent,

Thank you very much for your help. I will think about that to install the e34 seats in my e28. Maybe I will start with the restauration (If it is warm enough) next month and will post some pictures when it is finish.

Best Regards

Tobias

Hi

It is not so easy to explain it in words, as there are a lot of details to do.

Regards
Bent
I tottaly understand this. Does it mean fitting them I have to drill new holes, weld or make brackets?
