Bent: beautiful car. You've done an amazing job cleaning and detailing. This is the quality I expect at car shows but am more often than not disappointed. There are a few things I would change (wheels, tranny, etc..) but overall you appear to have one of the cleanest E28's on the road.

Congrats! :alright:

Then I mounted obc computer, and it appears that everything is working, except that I can not set the clock / date. From what I understand one should keep uhr / date button while pressing one of the numbers. But as you can see from the video, nothing happens. As you can also see there is minus 30 degrees, due to the temp sensor are not mounted. Becouse am lacking an extension cord to it, which is ordered from bmw, and I will get it next week.

Telling you to Image would be the easiest way for me to answer your question...

But, since you're such a great guy, and have such a nice car,
and will return the nice gesture by filling me in with all the details needed to fit the E34 ///M5 rear seats into the E28,
I'll help you out, and, I'll go first. :)

First, to get the settings in the language you want, push the "AVG MPG" button.
Next, with a small pointed device (I use a toothpick) depress the small indented button in the lower right corner.
Now depress the "AVG MPG" button numerous times until the calculating fuel usage rate you want appears.
Now a second time depress the small indented button in the lower right corner.
This saves your setting.

Secondly, to set the "HR-DATE", depress the "HR-DATE" button one time,
now with the small pointed device depress the small indented button one time.
Next using the "1000, 100, 10, 1" buttons set the screen to the desired time.
Once this is done, depress the small indented button again. Again, this saves your setting.
Depress the "HR-DATE" button again to reveal the date screen, and once again depress the small indented button.
Again, using the "1000, 100, 10, 1" buttons set the OBC to the date you desire,
followed again by depressing the small indented button in the lower right corner, which saves your setting.

You should now be good to go.
And because of the very first step of setting the "AVG MPG" to the calculating formula you want,
the rest of the functions will show up in the language/formula that corresponds to the AVG MPG setting you chose.

Now it's time for you to return this favor by, posting them here or sending via PM using pictures if available,
telling me all the details/modifications needed to install the E34 rear seats into the E28.
No need for me to re-invent the wheel. :D

When it comes to how I mounted the rear seat, it is not so easy to explain that in words, and I have not so many pictures. But will take some more pictures later, and then I'll will get back to you.

Forgive me, this is a most beautiful car, and you are a most anal (anal retentive being a good thing) owner, and we all respect you for that...

I'm looking at all these wonderful photos, and I couldn't manage to look at all 12 pages of them... it's just overwhelming (and good). And I'm looking at all your upgrades here and there and everywhere. And then I see a picture that makes milk shoot out my nose (only when I'm drinking milk while looking at photos, mind you)!! There's an upgrade/modification that was the first one to make, and tragically, you have not done so yet.

What's that transmission doing in there? It's gotta be next on the list!!
