Apparently, he's homostretchual. The widest rim approved for a 205 tire is 7½".
You're really giving him a hard time about 12.7mm of stretch? C'mon, dude....
I answered a simple question with a simple fact. I find it at least mildly annoying that so many take a performance sedan (BMW invented the 'sports sedan' concept, after all) and make it perform worse. This is one of those times.
I understand where you are coming from, from a purist concept. But this is my E28 beater / daily driver, it is a 528e automatic...far from sporty...
I drive my E39 M5 when I want to have some fun
No stretch here. 19x9.5 +17 front 19x10.5 +22 rear with HK V12 EVO 275/30/19 | 295/30/19.

You drive it WHERE? All the way down to the A&W? Looks like you get serious tire rubbage any time you take a corner over 40 mph. So how's that on the track?

Some additional Camber + Minor Fender Work = Zero Rubbing even under full load. And yes, I drive it hard.
I know this is an old thread, but was hoping that the OP could help describe the modifications that he made to the E34 caps to line up properly on the rc090 face.
